Chops should have been a legend with us but unfortunately his antics last season tainted it for me! I wont boo him but Ill struggle to clap him! No doubt hes a great lad, and a good laugh, but if he had been 100% fully fit last season, without the off field issues, and problems with his weight, then he would have got his 20 goal quota and that would have been enough to get us up! Everyone knocks Jay but the bloke still exceeded expectations by scoring 20 goals, Chops should have done that and more but unfortunately the lure of the bookies, takeaways and booze was more important to him than firing us into the premier league!
