The ignorance is yours slick, like I said you are hoping for to much and by the way I watched your game Sunday and in the end you were lucky with the point, yes if you get a striker in you may copete, but what happens when injurys come along, your squad is small and inexperienced, your first side as it stands is top 10 unless you get players in,what's ignorant about that? Its the truth and its you looking through your blue blinkers.

It's all about perceptions and opinions and not ignorance!

We were certainly second best until Conway went off injured, but we got stronger and stronger in the first half when we went 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1, whichever way it was and we were pissing all over them until Rudy got injured!

So we were unlucky with his injury in particular and you'd have to say, that this meant that Leicester were lucky, as his injury meant that Miller had to drop deeper and Rudy became a passenger up front!

I'd therefore say, that in the end, that whilst we were hanging on, Leicester got lucky with our injuries!

Tony if I remember right we didn't have any money to spend 2009 season cos ridsdales golden ticket scam where he pocketed the money. Secondly, we could doubt the future intentions of every owner in the country. You could argue that once abrahamovic wins the champions league then he will leave chelsea. Nobody knows what the malaysians long term plans are but as long as they are here bankrolling our club I will back them 100%. Thirdly i'm not concerned about the langston debt, the club hired forensic accountants and gethin jenkins has said that its all in hand (paraphrase). Personally I think it would have been quite foolish making an all out charge on the premier league this year given the fact that the whole club has been revamped meanwhile leicester and west ham have been spending like galacticos! I think the boards strategy along with malky has been to build a solid foundation and a team that is hard to beat (which is always the way with succesful teams) then next year push on and add the necessary flair to the team once the team and new management have es!blished themselves. If we get promoted this year it will be a massive bonus! (thats the way I see it anyway)

Yeh. I dont go on their board passing comment on them.

Yes, he did make good points, you only have to come on
the board for 5 minutes to realise some of our 'support'
is fickle to say the least.

But then he shows his ignorance about the team by saying
we are top ten at best.

My only argument would be that with the right blend up front
I cant see many teams beating us. Our defence and midfield
coped pretty easily with Leicester, truth be told. We just need
goals and we will fly

Taffy you are definitely the most positive poster on this board, i agree with most things you say but i do wonder whether we have enough pace and creativity in our team to mount a serious challenge but hey lets see who malky can bring in. If we do finish outside the play offs though i won't be disheartened i think next year is the year we'll become a major force and malky can add the building block to the foundations he has already laid :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Taffy is positive in a telling your missus she isnt fat, or she looks nice when she doesnt kind of way.

Just says things for the sake of it.

The jack lad is right about us only looking a top ten team at the moment.

And i brought the up the subject of no pace and creativity and got given a load of abuse for daring to question malky

Polo it's the way you say things mate. The heading "Boring Boring Cardiff" didn't really help! Anyway the difference in what i said to what you said is that i believe that malky is doing a great job and i believe he's making us organised and hard to beat before he adds flair to our squad. Like i said, i believe all successful teams do things this way. One of my criticisms of dave jones as that he tried to do it the other way around. We always had players who turn a game but our midfield always had a weak underbelly and this reared it's ugly head everytime it seemed to matter. :ayatollah:

No one should expect Malky to get us promoted this season, unless he is given at least another 3 players.
First of all, DJ left our squad virtually naked, also there was no up and coming players coming through for this season,Malky has had to bring a whole new management team in and lastly, Malky has only had quarter of what DJ had to give players in wages.

Malky, I am 100% behind you, on whatever position we finish this season :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Suspicious of what?

Didn't they save your club from liquidation and have since reduced the debts considerably while putting the club on a far more firm footing than you could have imagined 18-24 months ago?

But surely there is a budget to work from which would be only spending what the club generates and not having to rely on further external funding to prop the club up? I thought that's what everyone wanted after the overspending of the past?

Gotta say mate I totally agree with you. I'd much rather the board clear our historical debts so we can move forward on a firm footing. If that means staying in the championship next year then so be it

Think it's pretty obvious that we have less money this year, doesn't help that Saint Dave is still taking such a gargantuan salary from us. I'm not blaming him for doing it but it's doesn't help us.

I cant help wonder whether our past owners and Chairmen have made it impossible
for lots of us to get behind the board and show a little faith.

They have done NOTHING so far to suggest they are here for a quick fix

Admittedly they are not throwing tens of millions at Malky Mackay, but im
almost relieved they are showing themselves to be financially astute.

Lets be honest. If he'd been given 20m to spend on players, there would still
be those that would be "putting their money" on it being cash sourced from
elsewhere and no more than another crippling loan taken out in the name of
Cardiff City

I'm not wet behind the ears. I know there are a lot of scenarios possible here

But am going with this one:

Cardiff City have new owners who are trying to get things right here, and so
far are doing an excellent job. So I'm supporting Malky AND the board

Im not disputing he has less of a budget but it has been cut by 75% is pure fabrication.

As for DJ taking a salary how many of us would pass up a contracted years salary if we were made redundant?
