It's a shame that the newer football fans will never really experience that special atmosphere that kept drawing us back to watch The bluebirds.

Good music too. Anyone know who it is?

Second to none, We were def one of the most passionate fans around then :ayatollah:

Songwriters name is Rob P
Band is Alter Zero. Song written about following Cardiff in the late '80s, early '90s. Bit dated now though.

You'll soon get sick of it if you watch many more of my vids but it saves me worrying about copyright which in terms of the music can be a bit of a pain.

Somone posted on here last week about plymouth taking 800 fans away, and asked would we take that many away if we were in that division, well we used to in the dark old days as you can see on that video, sometimes in those days we took more away than we where having at home :ayatollah:

And I have video footage where we've taken one coach full but I personally certainly had more feeling for the club back then, it was probably the biggest thing in my life and no doubt, apart from the birth of my son, it gave me the very best memories I could wish for. I'll be content to wear those sapphire tinted specs forever.

Ironic that some of Cardiff City's worst times were responsible for some of the best days of my life. :ayatollah: I spent 8 years in the RAF but unlike a lot of forces personnel I didn't lose touch with my mates back home and that was predominantly to do with Cardiff City FC. Losing 3-0 at Maidstone, 3-1 at Barnet and having an absolute ball. Their results could put me down for weeks on end but some of the players and in particular the crack I had with fellow City fans, sometimes close friends, sometimes not could lift me higher than anything I've experienced (or ingested) before or since. :D
