Best Holiday Destination?

Baros island in the Maldives for long haul and definitely Mallorca for short haul holidays - both wonderful islands in totally different ways!

Forget anywhere in Florida.. I lived there for over a year with my yanky relatives who live in Fort Myers beach on the Gulf Coast. It's ok for 2 week holiday for the kids who want to go to Disney, Universal Studios etc, but the place for most adults is a complete bore with horrible humid weather and thunder storms on a daily basis. The people are rude and the food is awful, I swore I would never go back and I haven't.

No.. The nicest place I have ever visited and it's like paradise on earth with the most stunning beaches you will ever find are the Seychelles islands off the Indian Ocean. I have yet to find on my travels across our planet anywhere as stunning and beautiful as the Seychelles.

Portugal - love the place, been to Australia/USA etc, but just so relaxing in a little place called Alvor.

Praia da Rocha in Portugal was a awesome holiday, slightly off-season and had about 4 miles of beach to about 20 of us. North Atlantic was bloody freezing though.

Clearwater Florida
Prob my fave was gokarna in India. Few hundred miles south of goa and aliken to how goa was back in the 60's. Timeless
