Managed by Roy Keane.
Who decided to play him on the wing for the most part.

The guy still scored 1 in 3, playing out of position - and as we've seen, playing him wide, he was generally a non-factor.

I'd say that's a pretty good scoring record in the prem all things considered.

1 in 3? :? Where'd you get that from? And if he was good enough to cut it in the Prem, why isn't he there now?

Chopra is another Earnie. Good championship player, not good enough for the Premiership.

Big Boss Man, are you Kenny Miller's agent, father, brother or lover?

I have seen too many players come to the City looking for their last big contract and I do not think that Miller will be that type of player but I still tink that 900k is too much money for a 31 year old who is not going to get any better.

Players like Sinclair for the Jacks and Chopra for us first time around are the players to spend money on. A 31 year old is ok on a free transfer.

Yup, mistake, didn't figure in sub appearances.

1 in 5 is more accurate. Still not bad compared to some Prem regulars especially given most of those sub appearances were for five minutes on the wing.

Not there now? Because he's not shown the professionalism required. At the time we first sold him, he was good enough. The fact he declined since then desn't alter that fact.

You'd better hope Miller plays poorly. Payback and all that...

I'm not sure about the price either, Martyn, it seems a little bit too much for a player of his age. But I'm excited about him coming here and his experience and possible versatility within the team could enable us to switch formations which will make us less predictable than under Jones

Rangers sold him with less than six months on his contract.

We ar buying a player with 2 years left on a contract.

That''s one reason for the difference

Chops was a gamble that paid off.

Miller is in his prime and still getting plenty of goals.

31 being at the end of your career? f*cking hell! Some strikers play their best football at that age.

Bellers is older! Miller doesn't have history of bad injuries.

And no, you haven't seen players like Miller before come to Cardiff.

JFH and Fowler were well past their prime.

Miller is Capt of Scotland and still in demand.

Big Boss Man is definitely related to Kenny Miller, because noone can be that delusional. 30 goals in season? that's just stupid, he can't even score that much in SPL, etc etc.

nerd, he better score 30 and not 5 goals, as I've mentioned million times, I hope he proves me wrong, but I don't think that's likely that he will be worth 1million euros

Do they play 46 games in the SPL?

BBM, lets hope that you are correct.

I think that he is a good signing but I do not like transfer fees for over 30s when the players are more injury prone and there will be no sell on fee.

We are just the fans - it is MM who knows what he is doing

Re: KENNY MILLER - An act of desperation?

Miller wasn't bought for his re-sale value.

He was bought for an instant impact.

He scored goals at this level and I believe he is better player than he was when he was at Wolves.

20-30 goals a season man who is still in his prime for less then a million - You don't get that very often! Great work by MM!

Re: KENNY MILLER - An act of desperation?

The sad reality is people think were a better team than we are i saw someone post a few weeks ago about a player and said yeah hes good at this level but hes not premier leauge.... Well incase you havent noticed neither are we. And it also annoys me when people say err millers shit hes only scored in scotland then in the next breath say id prefer to splash out on goodwillie :o thats why te atmospheres down imo because if we go 1-0 downnpeople think it all over abd now people are complaining that we lost a pre season friendly!!! Its practacly a new team with nrw staff i hope if we lose to west ham peopledont get on Thr teams backs because its damaging the club more than anything some people dont know how good we have got it

I'll say it again,

MM has signed a player that has a proven track record for less then a million.

Miller and Goodwillie = Best front in the league.

I also think they were get goals in the Prem.
