20 million was the figure quoted that the malaysians were investing into the club as a whole to include paying off historical debts on the stadium of which i might add they are doing.
If the wages for earnie and miller are to believed at 20 and 25k respectively then thats blows over 2 million of the budget straight away not including their signing on fee's and also the signing on fees for the rest of the new squad members plus wages.
That 20 million also includes staff wages for all aspects of the club including the acadamy.
It is also fair to say that a portion of the budget is being held back for january to strenghten in the window.
All things taken into consideration 20 million does not go a long way these days bearing in mind the debts being serviced from previous regimes.
Mind you perhaps people miss those days of high court appearances where we bit our nails wondering if we would have a football club to support the next day.
bloody malaysians what have they ever done for us eh

Only that some made out that £16 million was set aside for Malky -giving the impression that was for new players not paying off debts and if Miller and Earnie on 20k plus than all this tosh about Jones and Chopra is utterly laughable . 20 k each is Premiership wages for starters and I thought one the reasons we needed Chopra out was due to his wages demands? but we can pay Earnie 20k a week ?
Seriously give me Chopra anyday of the week for 20k, rather than Earnie and deep down we all know it

I think you will find the Malaysians have had quite a big change of mind, plus a few mistakes along the way as now they are paying of Jones/Burton,Wilkinson,plus other back room staff and now Gethin Jenkins, plus all the staff who replace these, it just seems to go on and on
