Dave Jones has gone. It's official

and when sacked him on the day the jacks went to wembley for playoff final just to get one over on them

He has generally been good for the club, I wish him all the best for the future,and I think he will bounce back, I wonder if he gets a new club soon will he take any players with him.

Well said Taffy this is a clear statement from TG & VT that they are staying around in my opinion and thankfully Jones leaving has finally cleansed the club of anything associated with Ridsdale.

This should have happened 2 years ago and is therefore long overdue but thankfully its done and he is going to disappear to another part of the world where people won't understand or appreciate him.

One thing for certain though nothing to do with him.

Your an Idiot, He did good for this club, 6 years is a long time, How can you boo him? He's not perfect but to boo someone who's been at Cardiff longer than some of our supporters is pathetic.

I for one would not Boo DJ, remember he had to start from scratch when Sam left, and he brought a lot of good players in, many who were sold to help keep the club afloat. Then there was the transfere embargo, and only loan signings could be brought in to the club. But I do think that the time was right not only the club but DJ as well.
Now we have to wait and see who the replacments will be, lets all hope that we get better than what we allready had!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats the end of the Dave Jones era then. The club has progressed significantly in the last 6 years and for that we should be thankful and wish him and his family all the best. I think most of us, and critically our Malaysian backers as well, had come to the conclusion that Dave had taken the club as far as he could so thanks for the good times Dave but now its time to move-on.
