How about we all put in a £10 for Dave to get the first bus out of Cardiff central. All TG has got to do is put in a manager that will get us there....? Any takers :?:

That is exactly my point...we do not need to know the ins and outs of things, we do not need instant decisions done in haste, just a few words from someone in control of the club to pacify fans whilst they decide what the plans are for next season.

Im not convinced that VT has the financial clout he says he does and he's just using CCFC to springboard his gambling company in the UK when he gets the licence , lets be honest does the Malaysian public care about teams outside the prem league ? Arsenal are over there for pre season and I bet there's sell out crowds at the games .... no mention of CCFC in the media then Id imagine .

Its a bit concerning if you ask me.

Im sure there is a lot of work and discussions behind the scenes - but why do they have to tell the fans anything?

Dave Jones has talked about similar "waiting games" when we've been inactive on the transfer front.
A lot of people get worried when nobody has come in, but eventually everything gets put into place.
There's no rush to get the manager out at the moment to make wholesale changes. The management of the club need to take a total review of the club, the same that should happen EVERY SEASON.
Patience is certainly a virtue. We do not want the powers that be to make a poor decision for Cardiff City.
If we have a tight budget next season, but do not want to rock the boat too much, Dave Jones will probably stay.
If there is scope to shake thins up then by all means that is what we should look at doing.

The current suggestions for managers concerns me though. Curbishley has never been overly convincing... Di Matteo offers no more than Jones ( See Di Matteo's defensive frailties at WBA and the team he aquired in the Championship... This will show you how little he did there)...

Paul Tisdale looks like a good manager coming through, with outstanding records at Bath & Exeter City. Does he have enough knowledge of the higher levels though?

In my opinion we need somebody in who has a record for organising a strong defence and can get his team to play with flair and confidence going forward.

I think a word of encouragement would be fair to the 18,000 that have bought season tickets and to the others that may also want to buy them.Nothing major just something to hang on to until they finalise their plans.

Be careful what you wish for Corky! We had a guy before who gave plenty of "words of encouragement" when we were within a hairs-bredth of extinction - Peter Ridsdale... Obviously his words of encouragement were lies or extensions of the truth...

I'd much prefer waiting and getting an honest apraisal of everything

Absolutely, all I was saying was that we have had nothing since the Reading game other than our CEO looking down and out giving an interview....anyway going over old ground again...lets all hope that we eventually do get some encouragement from somewhere

This is totally my thought, until other matters are sorted out im not sure what kind of statement they can make.

There will be continued silence until TG and VT have come to a definate decision on the way forward. They will not desert us,they are just contemplating the best way forward.Keep the faith.....these people are top buisnessmen, and will rush nothing.I have complete faith in them :old:

Being Welsh is both a blessing and a curse. I love my country, i love
my countrymen, I love my language.

Unfortunately, the Welsh are also the most fickle, argumentative, confrontational
fuckers on earth.

What were some of you expecting? We lose to Reading and Jones is publicly beheaded
by his successor Martin O'Neill with O'Neills new squad on the pitch as witnesses???

Vincent Tan KNEW there was every chance that Jones would f**k it up. Anyone thinking
he put all his eggs in the 'promotion' basket needs their bumps feeling.

Tan will have a plan B (yes, a plan B, I know that sounds incredible given Dave Jones record here)

He will have a good idea of who he wants at the helm. He will be waiting to see what happens
re: Jones. Why pay him 800k when if we hang on for a few more days we might get compensation
for him!! it would be madness. We really have no right to start slagging Tan, so far he has done
exactly what he said he would do. Its JONES that blew promotion. Perhaps Tan should have got
rid of DJ before Xmas, but even clued up football people would have been on the fence about that
decision. We have sold 18,000 season tickets for next season. Tan knows that this club is a going
concern, he should do.. he's the one thats turned it around. So be patient people. The Far East is
a place where people think before acting, they do not rush into anything... THATS why you can all
be reassured that TAN is going nowhere.

Chill.

Be cooooooooooooooool

Its ariiiiiiiiittttteee ;)

Some people seem to be suggesting that the Malaysians won't sack DJ because of the money we'd have to pay and they won't be funding new players and expensive loans next season.......but they are not stupid. The squad we have left available are certs for relegation and VT would never get his money back if he sold us. I am confident that they see the huge benefits of promotion to the Premier league and are hooked on the buzz and the potential kudos of owning a Premier league club as well as the huge financial rewards to VT's portfolio of companies..therefore after a perod of reflection I think they will do the sensible thing and pick a manager who is capable of getting us to the promised land and they will have to back his judgement with a healthy budget. Relax !!

There's two sides to this. Corkys side which is understandable is that you want the board to say everythings ok but how many times have you heard "we'll dust ourselves down and go again". Maybe the silence is a good thing, maybe people are genuinely taking stock and considering the best route forward. The one thing you can be guaranteed is that football being football there is no chance that nothing is happening. When it does it'll either be great or awful, strap yourselfs in guys, the rollercoasters about to set sail again!!!
