Swansea are a small to average sized club, who know this and accept it.Cardiff always think they are bigger than what they are as their the capital city.I do believe though that if they reach the premiership then the club will take off like no other, and the CCS will need more seats.
We'll just keep plugging away under the radar and upsetting the applecart cos its what we do

Since Sam Hammam took over the club, our average attendance has gradually increased from 3,000 to 23,000. I still believe that in the Cardiff City catchment area there are more Liverpool and Man Utd supporters than Cardiff City supporters. I believe Premiership football would change that.
Someone posted on here that 1,400,000 people live within 35 miles of Cardiff with no other other rival club in sight. OK 35 miles West there are towns that will have Swansea and Cardiff fans in, but everywhere else its Cardiff or Premiership clubs. Cardiff are the sleeping giant and Premiership football is whats missing.

We are already the same size as Leicester and catching Derby quickly.

If we go up we'll pass those 2.
If we don't we'll still be one of the bigger clubs in the prem.
We have the 'potential' to be in the top 20 clubs in the country. I'd say that was a big club.
Both our clubs have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years, making football now a more popular game in South Wales than rugby.

i did say you could be a big club, but a couple of others on here said 'huge' and 'massive' which are way off the mark.Your Liverpools and United's are that.

Well, given your business model is based around turning a profit by selling managers....
Good luck with player contract renegotiations, as Huw quickly realises they'd want better than Div 1 wages...

We will not only lose our loan players, but 1st teamers like Jay and Burke.
Fair few others into their last year as well, correct me if I/m wrong, but that will include Gerrard, Hudson, McPhail, Marshall,Quinn, Blake I think Naylor, Chopra, McNaughton,Heaton and Whittingham have a bit longer but not sure, but the guts of our squad are in danger of leaving.
Wheras the Jacks will lose Rangel and Pratley this season and have severla others in their last year including Ashley Williams who has not signed the contract extension offerred, and I think Devries who was out of contract last summer, but given a new one, 2 years if i remember correctly. Thats 3 of their best 4 players IMHO.
