Fair enough, but you are not often ahead of us and it don't usually last long either. ;) :D

You are on here trying to crow about being ahead of us after just 24 hours though. Come back when you have sustained that after 10 years.    :D :D :D

No we're not so im singing like a canary about it

We've been ahead of you for the last 17 years. You are currently above us on goal difference and that will amount to nothing if we win the Play-Off Final.
Currently? we FINISHED above you

Indeed.Although im sure if one of us gets there then it'll spur the other to make it next season. The worry is though that whoever doesnt make it,and it could be the both of us then our current best players will probably leave in their droves.

No need to bite lads. This buffoon won't be here for long spouting his drivel. Forest will put the tie to bed Thursday with at least a two goal advantage, whilst we'll set up the prestige final with the tricky trees with our one goal lead at the Madjeski. Every year the mongs season ends with supporting someone else. This year it'll be Forest. The team that knocked them out in the semis.

Swansea City are just simply NOT good enough for this level. Mid-table League One at best.

True, but your dominance is but a fleeting moment in time. One the other hand, our dominance is emphatic and continued.
Go, look at the stats and the tables over the years. Please come back and report how many times you have finished above us in all of your existence as a club. Please, please tell me how many times.

Like you say, the tables never lie, Cardiff are far the number one club in Wales, both in their support and time spent higher than any other club in the Principality.
Im not interested in what has gone on before. We were rubbish for 15 of the last 20 years but since then we've slowly but surely improved as a club and it's all beared fruition this season. All our side apart from Borini we own,how many of your players will be gone next season?5,6,7 even?Nobody can argue we've nailed it as a club,we play the best football in the division and all on a snaredrum tight budget.

If you wasn't a bluebird you'd be a Jack :D
if you dont care wat has gone on before why do your club persistantly do the swim away ?
come back and gloat if you win the playoffs gay boy

Then you'll be the best side in the play offs and in the Premier League. For the time being though, your the number 2 side in Wales :D My opinion counts for nothing just like yours does but you WILL NOT win the playoffs with Dave Jones in charge.Don't you lot ever learn?!?

BS. I said you would fade away from the automatic slots. That naturally happened. Kudos on making the playoffs but with a full house at the city ground, you'll crumble in an away game as you've done almost every away game the last few months. The tie will be dead and buried Thursday night, then you'll all become Forest fans for our date with destiny on the 30th. :-)

So if we turn out ot be the best side in the play offs and as you are also in the play offs then we become the best team in the Principality.

Yes it is possible we might not win the play offs with Dave Jones. I'm more aware of that than anyone on here. Still you just dont know what is going to happen.

We've turned a corner on our travels.Rodgers now knows how to play it and with the right personnel. It started at Pompey and it came right at Millwall.I don't think we'll win at Forest but they won't beat us by more than 2 goals,im confident of this. Then at the Lib we can put any deficit to bed.I think your underestimating us but would expect nothing less.

However, I was genuinely pleased yesterday that we got 4th rather than 3rd place as I would much prefer to play Reading - not that that means I think we will definitely beat them, but I think we do have a very good chance, whereas I wouldn't have fancied our chances against Forest, especially as the City Ground has been a fortress this year - at least if we meet them in Wembley, they won't have that advantage.

If we can just get past Reading, then even though we have the liability of having a worse manager in Jones at Wembley, we do at least have Bellamy this year, who hopefully will be able to counter the Jones liability on the pitch, and get us over the winning line. All we fans can do is heartily support the team for (hopefully) another 3 games and hope someone else may freeze on the big day at Wembley - if its the Jacks, there's every possibility, as they've not played there for 14 years, whereas it would be our 4th appearance there in 3 years.

The other factor that I think black swan is overly optimistic over is that they own all of their squad and will be strong next year. I think that if they fail to get up, that they could lose De Vries, Pratley, Rangel, Sinclair, Askley Williams and obvioulsy Borini. This is not my view, but what the Jacks in work with me are saying. I think they may also struggle to keep hold of Rogers. If on the other hand, they get up, then I think the future is potentially bright for them.

For myself, if we get up, if the Jacks want to crow about being higher than us in the table, then that's fine by me as that shows an unhealthy interest in foolish local issues that don't matter a jot to the wider world - but there's a big if in there, and if on the other hand they got up, then that would be a completely different matter.

That's a great post apart from you being happy finishing 4th.It's crucial that you hit form going into the playoffs. We could have sat back yesterday and got a draw or a defeat but we wanted to hit the ground running and not worry about who we might face in the playoffs.I would have rathered Reading if im being honest but Forest....bring em on,and im sure after the way we beat them last month they wont fancy playing us.

----------------
hmmm, I suppose time will tell ultimately on this one, but I think you may actually have lost a trick here, as you could have ensured that you would have been playing Reading FC rather than us, given the way we both went into the games yesterday - but if you're right and you beat Forest over the 2 legs, then fair play to you. If on the other hand, Earnie is celebrating a victory and doing the ayatollah down the Liberty in 8 days time, then perhaps we have been the canny ones here, as I supect Forest will be easier to beat at Wembley than over 2 legs, one of which will of course be played at the City Ground.

We may be wrong on Reading FC being the easier team, but we both seem to agree on that one, and I'm pleased we've got them - perhaps finally a bit of tactical genius from Dave Jones :) .

Do you think you will lose some of your best players if you don't go up, as that's what Swansea fans in work with me are saying is probable?

We'll lose a few for sure.Pratley's a gonner but we've able back up in Britton Allen and the returning Bodde who'll be like a new signing.Borini i don't think will want to stay given that he could earn a lot more elsewhere and probably in the PL,saying that he seems to love it down here so you never know.Ash could go and so could Rangel, thats a worry but personally our biggest concern is losing DeVries who we'll struggle to replace. We have Yves Makalaambay but he looks like it's all too much for him despite his huge physical presence.

All said,if we don't go up and Rodgers stays then i wouldnt put it past him to get all the above players to stay, such is his popularity at the club.Interesting times ahead for both clubs.

Bodde? The guy whose knee has broken down how many times?

Borini may stay? Top clubs across Europe are after him!

Ash, people keep saying Prem interest, has there actually been any serious interest?

Rangel imo is somewhat overrated.

Rodgers may well be popular, but the bottom line is the fact those players could earn far more elsewhere.

We all know the risks regarding Bodde which reflects in the contract he's just signed. We haven't rushed him back this time,we have in the past.IF he gets back to something like his old self then we have one hell of a player to look forward to again.

Borini i've already said will probably move on,not sure why you made a point of that.

As for Ash,there's been plenty sniffing around and he clearly knows how good he is,so at some point will move on,he's under contract though so will not have it all his own way should he want to leave at the end of the season.

Rangel is re-placeable,he's a good player without doubt and has tried to leave before.Crack on,i say.

And regarding Rodgers, when you can bring someone in of the ilk of Sinclair and Borini, both of who know him from previous, then it's obvious that players and very good ones at that want to play for him.Im sure the whole Swansea squad feel this too, which is why it wouldn't surprise me that not all might leave.

But as you probably know by now,i know sod all :D
