Annis - you just summed up everything im feeling! There has to be changes on Sunday! I love Jay but hes clearly lost form and confidence. One of DJs biggets problems is that he has his favourites and continues to play them even when they need a rest, Hudson last year, Naylor this year and now Jay. I have no doubt that Jay will turn it around, and be vital for us, but Parkin has waited patiently for his chance, and after we have failed to score in the last 2 games its time the big man was given his opportunity to stake a claim. As for tactics and bottle, its the same old story, DJ wont change now, its too late so we are just praying other teams bottle it more than us. Even if we go up Ill still be saying its in spite of DJ and not because of him! No manager in CCFC history has had the resources and backing he has had! Failure is not an option!

There should be no excuses, DJ has assembled the best squad in 36 years of watching the club, with the resources availble we whould be walking this league, We may be 2 points of second place but it is not acceptable

I have always backed Jones however he needs to stop making excuses and earn his salary, He is paid to motivate a bunch of overpaid primadonnas with the exception of McNaughton, McPhail & Hudson who always give 100% in my opinion

I know there are many on here, myself included that look back on the 80's & 90's watching the club when players with limited ability would litterally run through brick walls, put their bodies on the line and would battle for 90 minutes for the cause. This was because people like Frank Burrows Eddie May & Lennie Ashurst would instal a sense of pride when they pulled on the shirt.

I know this may sound sentimental but those who watched the club during this period would see 11 players that would give 100% week in week out and that is what is lacking from this current squad

Annis,there is one simple solution that both you and i know and that is to sack Dave Jones. He has taken us as far as he possibly can. He should be thanked for his effort over 6 years and politely relieved of his duties. I believe that he knows himself that this is it and is waiting for the bullet. Look what Eddie Howe has done at Burnley already, a young man with a fresh idea on the game. We need a new face at the top immediately, i cannot believe that there are still supporters of him out there. Jones is NOT getting the best out of the BEST squad in the championship, he hasn't been able to gel a team, they are a team of individuals who lack passion and desire and that comes from the top. A good team has a good manager we aren't playing like a good team. What ever the excuses from saturday, a good team trying to get promotion would have bounced back last night. To start the match disinterested, out fought, lacking passion and desire just isn't good enough. We NEED someone to get these overpaid primadonnas sorted out NOW. Half the managers in this division could have got this squad promoted. Jones is too dated with his ideas and is being totally outwhitted by other managers. We have too many players who like playing in their comfort zone, how many do you see busting a gut to get into the opposition's penalty area, the manager is responsible for all this. Promotion or not this season, Jones should be shown the door NOW and replaced by a person who can man-manage this lot into success.

SO SURELY JONES and CO SHOULD START ADMITTING ITS HIS/THEIR FAULT THAT WE KEEP FALTERING YEAR ON, YEAR IN and STOP BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE.

Just a quick comment, A Manager who keeps blaming Fans/MB's to me that is not a good sign and its a manager who is panicking/stressed and cant take pressure, just My Opinion.

Annis,there is one simple solution that both you and i know and that is to sack Dave Jones. He has taken us as far as he possibly can. He should be thanked for his effort over 6 years and politely relieved of his duties. I believe that he knows himself that this is it and is waiting for the bullet. Look what Eddie Howe has done at Burnley already, a young man with a fresh idea on the game. We need a new face at the top immediately, i cannot believe that there are still supporters of him out there. Jones is NOT getting the best out of the BEST squad in the championship, he hasn't been able to gel a team, they are a team of individuals who lack passion and desire and that comes from the top. A good team has a good manager we aren't playing like a good team. What ever the excuses from saturday, a good team trying to get promotion would have bounced back last night. To start the match disinterested, out fought, lacking passion and desire just isn't good enough. We NEED someone to get these overpaid primadonnas sorted out NOW. Half the managers in this division could have got this squad promoted. Jones is too dated with his ideas and is being totally outwhitted by other managers. We have too many players who like playing in their comfort zone, how many do you see busting a gut to get into the opposition's penalty area, the manager is responsible for all this. Promotion or not this season, Jones should be shown the door NOW and replaced by a person who can man-manage this lot into success.

Personally if DJ was to loose the next 2 games, I BELIEVE WE SHOULD DEF SACK HIM and LET TERRY BURTON MANAGE THE LAST FEW GAMES. Just My opinion .

probably Wembley to get beat by another second rate side like last year.Just what the owners are going to do if we fail will be interesting.After 35 games DJ and his coaching staff still cant work out where to play Bellers.still cant work out when to make changes. But surely even if we managed to get to the premiership with Jones, the chances are that there would be many games where we would go a goal behind and if you think Jones is incapable of coming from behind to win in the championship then he would have even less of a chance of coming from behind in the next division.If we did manage to get promoted then Jones would be cruely exposed for his tactical naivety so we would have to get rid of him anyway.At the risk of upsetting Jones fans, he has to go regardless of whether we get promoted or not.

In my opinion, We have to now without doubt win our next 2 games to stay in touch with 2nd place, we can not afford any more defeats for a while.

I thought that about Palace and Barnsley, but alas. I will say though that mathematics count for nothing in this league - don't win our next two, and I too think we're screwed, if only for such a lack of momentum.
