I said if we beat Swansea we will go on our best run .
I think now we will get 2nd spot if not possibly 1st.

Reasons being this is our hardest month we have jumped the first hurdle being Swansea.
We have a few more in front of us .
We have to play forest at their ground which i think we will win .
We have to play leicester at our which i think we will win.
Burnley our game in hand at ours.
If we win these games we will be reeling our promotion chasers in . Hull at the end of the month is also another must win.
Our confidence is going to be sky high right now we must carry this into the coming month.
Beating Swansea will be our season defining moment .
We will go up automatically. :ayatollah:

I agree 100% If we can't be optimistic now then we never can! Come on guys!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Next weekend is huge - QPR play Forest, so as long as we win, we gain at least two points on them if they draw or three on one of them if someone wins that game. Win our game in hand against Burnley and we are breathing right down both their necks or even put some space above Forest if they lose to QPR and we win both our next two. Next up Forest, take a point from that now - but their home run has to come to an end sometime, followed by Leicester and Hull; one of which I expect us to lose. After that, we have Millwall, QPR and Burnley away from the current top half, which on paper gives us a chance to pick up a lot of points over the last couple of months. Its great because, they were talking about us still being in a poor run of form in TV on Sunday and it means we are quietly going about our business almost un-noticed as our record so far this year has seen us lose only once to Stoke and we have played nobody lower than 8th in the league.

Forest have Norwich, Millwall, Hull, Jacks, Leeds, Reading, Burnley and Leicester to play from the top half of the table, so a very tough run in for them. Jacks have Leeds, Norwich and Forest, while QPR have a better run in with us, Millwall and Leeds still to come. Some of them also have Watford and Reading still to play. They are all going to take points off each other, so as long as we keep our heads, the door is wide open for us to get an automatic place. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Bluebird1962-I took this from a QPR site, obviously we need to keep performing but is interesting all the same & is a flip side to your calculation.

February 12/13
We beat Forest, Cardiff beat Scunthorpe and Norwich beat Reading

February 19/20
We beat Preston, Forest beat Cardiff and Leeds beat Norwich.

February 22nd
We beat Ipswich, Forest beat Preston, Cardiff beat Leicester and Norwich beat Doncaster.

Table Would Be
QPR: Played 33 - 68 Points
Forest: Played 31 - 58 Points
Norwich: Played 33 - 57 Points
Cardiff: Played 32 - 56 Points

Then the race for the finish line begins and I have a feeling that Barnsley (A) or Derby (H) will see promotion guaranteed and Cardiff (A) or Hull City (H), will see us crowned as Champions.

Now I have come down from cloud nine I really cant answer the question until we have played Forest. Sundays game against the Jacks has restored my confidence in the team, that is all to be honest. The next few games are immense and I'm hoping the Jacks game is not a one off.

Ian, it was your answer I was looking for more than anyones as we have virtually the same views on the subject, I wondered if Sunday has changed your Views ? :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I just don't know! Simple as that. I would like to think we will be unstoppable now but I just can't see it. The minute Ramsey goes back we'll go back to our usual ways. Jones will make some decision that will make us a worse team and it'll probably be the playoffs again.

I really hope I am wrong and I would give anything for Dave Jones to guide us up but I've seen us in this position for the last few years and it always ends the same way.

We'll see on the 19th February. If we take 7 points from the next 9 then I hope it's the push we need.

Forest is the key. Lose to them and Play-Off's at best. Beat them and we'll go up as 2nd place.

Well Stan - I'm not going to disagree, but the person writing that seems certain that you wll take maximum points while others won't. A bit biased I think!! Especially with you being 12 points in front of us after a further three games when the reality of it could be that if we win against Scunny and Burnley and you lose against Forest, we will be 2 points behind you.

Stan-QPR wrote:You are a funny club to judge this year. One part of me says you haven't really hit top form at any time this season & you are threatening to do it at any time (possibly starting last Sunday) if you do their will be no stopping you. The other part tells me DJ is a disaster waiting to happen AGAIN.

But if I was a betting man I would say you will finish 3rd. Although Forest are in a rich vein of form & it will come to an end I think they have a very good team & the 2nd best manager in the division after Warnock in Billy Davies who will keep them firing on all cylinders. Then again your defence looked brilliant on Sunday & if you continue like that you are a serious threat.

[color=#FF0000]Stan who will finish second then ? And yes we are unpredictable and it is like having a mad man in charge with DJ at the helm. You just dont know what the hell he will do next. If Naylor had been fit then he would of started and if that had been the case i really do believe we would of lost he is that bad.
As for the QPR i think well i would bet my house on it that you will finish champions. That would be a testament to Warnock ,as for the rest of the pack god knows. If Jones plays to our strengths we will be storming and i bet everyone else hopes that Jones carries on with his baffling tactics and formations.
