I dont think we should sack Dave Jones, we're second in the league. So what do we now expect from City managers 10 points clear by Christmas. We haven't got the squad to get anywhere near that!

I think last night's result only confirms DJ's position untill the end of this season, with twenty odd games left, i think it will be as interesting as ever come May. I have said before, i really hope DJ & the team can get us over that final hurdle. We shall see.

I would still sack him right now! One win and all of a sudden some of the swayers forget about the last 10 inept, clueless, tactically shambolic displays wth our best squad in living memory! Jones is lucky that the fans were magnificent last night and backed the team throughout! Leeds werent that great and the players decided that they were up for it (for once) and gave their all! They were great to be fair but why does it take appauling recent displays to make them realise they need to put that effort in every game? Knowing DJ we will probably go on a decent run now but you can be guaranteed that at the business end of the season we will have another bad run and he will blame tiredness or not being backed in the transfer window. I really dont think he is the man to get us up and one good win and performance wont change that! If we go up, as champions,I'll hold my hands up and send DJ a grovelling apology for ever doubting him but i will find it hard to forget just how abysmal some of his decisions and tactics have been this season! Whatever happens the board are standing by him so we are stuck with him but despite my personal reservations i'll give him and the team my full support during games and will cheer them on no matter what!

I'm still here and the words 'Stay of execution' spring to mind.... and for all those who still have faith in him, ask yourselves how many seasons you've defended him by saying 'I'll give him till the end of the season'.... so which season exactly where you thinking of?
