Unless you know this to be a fact, then I think you're speaking out of turn and not being fair to Burkey!

thanks carl, intresting read that,,,
Thu Dec 30, 2010 7:26 pm
Carl your a legend.
Great info - thank you

Surely the Langston debt could still be cleared by tomorrow just by vt paying him off?
Thu Dec 30, 2010 7:38 pm
Cheers Carl
VT investing in the House of Sport is the best news of all.
He has nothing whatsoever to gain from that apart from
maybe sending out a message to all of us that he's here
for the long haul.
I hope there's another defender in the mix somewhere though.
Apart from that its all good. Chops to QPR will be a good bit
of business if we get enough money? But we NEED to keep Jay!!
Thu Dec 30, 2010 7:46 pm
thanks for the update carl
Thu Dec 30, 2010 7:46 pm

Hope they all become bluebirds
Thu Dec 30, 2010 7:47 pm

Bellamy whitts?
Bellamy chops?
Bellamy bothroyd?
Forgive me selecting bellamy but most likely suspect!

We are a mess - All the DJ lovers should stop banging on about us being second because it's only a matter of time before we drop out of the top two and probably the top 2. Feuds in the dressing room are unforgiveable if they are allowed to fester which they obviously have (DJ alone should have owned and resolved this issue). Teams gunning for promotion just sort this out and move on.
The Langstone situation is massively depressing and the potential new signings all sound like they are far from being done deals. No sign of a left back and no sign of a hardman midfield general. Routledge is a great player but we have no chance of getting him. O'Brien sounds like a mercenary. Vaughan could be good but he sounds like he is going to replace Jay to me and he just ain't that kind of player. Woodgate is world class when fit.
I've just been busting a gut in the kitchen cooking the kids tea getting them bathed and then hoovered the house from top to bottom. Beer in hand I was looking forward to Carls update and now feel throughly depressed. We will get battered at Bristol City and lose at home to Leeds. FFS have New Year at CCS (NOT).

Thanks Carl. Great Read as always.

We were hoping to announce the 2nd Signing as Routledge, but Newcastle wont Budge on the £2 Mill price.

If Routledge did come here, I think the Burkey chant may need revisiting

My personal opinion, I think we are going to sell someone as well.

Awesome update!
All about sending Routledge loving messages on facebook <3
Thu Dec 30, 2010 9:06 pm
Annis you always dangle a carrot - do you know a bit more than Carl has let on in his update ? Do you know who has caused the rift and also do you know who else is on the way out ?
Also any communication with Sam recently and if so, what kind of mood is he in ?
Thu Dec 30, 2010 9:08 pm
2 million for routledge, only an idiot would pay that much, he's not worth that fee + wages. Mr Jones must be desperate..
Thu Dec 30, 2010 9:20 pm
Great update Carl.
Shame about the Langston debt though. Who knows where they will take it now.

interesting news, so I guess VT isnt going to step down even if we dont get promoted...if Routledge deal is done im certain Burke is leaving, as he is probably one of those who causes unrest in team with his bitching about Scotland or what not
what a clueless fool you are, burke doesn't bitch about scotland, you haven't got a clue what your talking about take your head out your arse and stop talking complete shit you mug..
Thu Dec 30, 2010 10:07 pm
Surely if Burke wont sign a new contract, then lets sell him now to fund the Routledge deal. Burke has not been on his best form lately, he seems to have lost that little bit of sparkle.
Thu Dec 30, 2010 10:17 pm
Ok.
VT has now proven he's not just banking on promotion this season by
investing in our academy.
Whatever his strategy is regarding the Langstone notes I am 100% confident
that it wont be Vincent Tan (Cardiff City Fc) crying in his beer once its all done and
dusted.
Over the last ten years we have had owners and chairmen happy to throw other
people's money around like confetti, then let Cardiff City take the hit for it. Some
of it good, most of it appallingly bad.
Its refreshing and reassuring to know we have someone at the helm who wont be
spunking money up the wall. I think Cardiff City are going to be a force to be
reckoned with off the pitch.
It appears the 'business' side of the club has overtaken the football side of things
already.
Go, go VT!!

what a cheerful and positive outlook on life you have. Did Santa leave you out this year?

Cheers Carl, greatly appreciated. Love the Andy O'Brien banter going on. Is that why he scored two own goals??? I'm not his biggest fan but rate him more than Hudson!
