i fully expected us to storm the league even before our signings. play off finalists, i thought with "hull, pompey both financially fucked they will be sold off and their teams stripped bear. with our only real challenge coming from leicester, as i thought forest had over spent for promo and failed.

if im honest by christmas i was expecting us to be crowned championship winners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, if we're all being honest....

Last June / July i thought we were going to be bottom six [if truth be known]. I would gladly have settled for our present position, just fustrating why we make such hard work of things. Sam's roller coaster ride continues!

Somewhere in the top six at this stage. Champions in May.

Expect to be 1st on May 8th but with Jones at the helm, anticipate [sadly] another season in this division.

I expected us to be top of the table or 2nd atleast! This is about our 3rd year now trying for promotion, we really need to put our heads back on and get our form back up the way a team like ours should have. I have faith!

Andy, without trying to show disrespect here the fact you and Norwich are in the top 6 just proves to me how weak this division is. Our fringe players got us to a PO final last season in what was definately a harder league. With what we have now plus the fact its a waker league, well we should be well ahead by now and not looking up at a team we beat 4-0 on their own patch.

I would have been happy with staying up at the start of the season. Right now, I reckon top six is a given, but hopefully top two.....

Top two. If someone had said before day one we'd be 4 points adrift of top
after boxing day i'd have bitten their hand off being honest.

But this has been a very poor division. We have lost or drawn far too many
games to be second.

As with most years, a club will come from nowhere, get a great run going and
take up one of the two promotion spots. its not us, if we do not start to put a
decent run together SOON.....then we will not go up automatic, because give
Warnock his due, QPR when they arent playing well generally scrape results,
and they will be one of the two!!!

nothing less than top 2,top 2 at the start,middle and end of season

I expected to be top - But as long as we finish Top 2 I dont care.

It has to be Premiership football next season..
