If the club goes into admin we'll be docked points, and have a transfer embargo put on us.

Will VT be prepared to basically forfeit promotion over this debt?

Back to court maybe.

Sams now in America on Holiday and VT did not meet up with him again, You never know there's 9 days left, But I Believe there will be No Deal Done, NOT GOOD I'm Afraid.

Annis, why do you say 'NOT GOOD' with such conviction?? I know you are in touch with Sam , so is there something we don't know?? :(

It wouldnt actually be about that though. It would be to determine which agreement was valid.
Would require an expensive full trial.
And after all that IF Sam was to win, the club would be put into admin as it would clearly be insolvent.

As to the negotiations, we've only heard one side of things, and then through a 3rd party, who knows what has been said or written in their private conversations.
Just wish we didnt have this crap to deal with really.

That is true to a point, but believe me Civil Courts are all about who can throw most shit at the other side. I have personal experience of it and whilst there might be some legal disputes which would be relevant to contract law, the side that can show it acted with the best intentions of avoiding a return to court will have a very powerful weapon indeed.

Who knows whats been said Tony. You have a few fairly vague things posted here which have been fed by Sam. Im not sure the size of case you dealt with was, but this is a very big one and will drag on for a long time. Long enough for VT to see if we are going to go up or not and if we dont, and he loses the case I reckon he'll put the club into admin.
I also reckon Sam is totally aware of this.

IF we go up then the dynamics change a bit as the club is more attractive than the debts and suddenly Sams position gets stronger. Could VT put the club into admin and risk relegation/losing control of a (then) valuable asset ? Its this he needs to bear in mind, and maybe he's pushing things to see what he can get away with.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the last 6 months, but its concerning that we could be back to square 1 in June if we fail to go up.

i would love to be a fly on the wall just to find out what is happening as all the negative news is not good for the club. but with all the debate about it does make you wonder has vt worked out how settle for less or is he really just playing russian roulette with our beloved club.who knows guess we will have to wait and see or atleast wait till lord carl updates us :D
