Howard a decent backup and he gives it his all as a player.

Aye, I'd have him in the team. :ayatollah:

What about a 1 and 1/2 year contract from Jan perhaps?

I remember Bob Hatton doing a job for us .He was well into his 30s.
Howard makes central defenders work for their living. :old:

I like Howard and I think he would definatley be a good addition to the squad, not sure about the two year contract but you can't blame the player for asking. I'd love to see that forest player that murdered us down here

Howard would be a good signing for us, worth a 2 year deal in my opinion..

He's a top player mate. Over his injuries now as well by the looks had a good run of games with Palace about 13 games I think and scored 5 goals. Would score a lot more for us I think with a good supply coming from midfield. He's a proper finisher. £500,000? An absolute steal. If he is fully over his injuries a sure fire future England international

He should get Kitson and Halford in as a starter, both on loan at Pompey !

" STEVEN HOWARD " CITY HAVE ONCE AGAIN BEEN LOOKING AT HIM, Howard and his agent have both said yes COME AND GET ME.
But Howard wants a Minimum 2 year deal and for this to be His last move, Howard has told his agent how impressed he is with the Cardiff Set up.

WHAT WILL CITY DO ? Howard is 34 years old, WILL THEY OFFER THAT LENGTH OF CONTRACT FOR A PLAYER THAT AGE ?

Dave Jones is also looking at Central Midfielder Nick Montgomery from Sheffield UTD.

Dont forget Loovens, Routledge and Hammill are Also Targets for Dave Jones.

Steve Howard?? As a bench-warmer, I suppose he'd be good as back-up for Jay (at last) and we could then continue with our current one-dimensional game of playing nearly every ball up in the air to Jay....even when he's off the pitch like against Preston!!

The contract length WOULD be an issue but I'm sure something could be sorted for a 'pay off bonus' should we be promoted and his services are no longer required in the La-La Land that is the Premiership

Any of the others named would be an 'asset' to City....and Nick Montgomery not a bad call (but surely we have 'other' priorities like a centre back and a left back??)

Not sure on Howard. when he was at Derby he was uesful, but watched
him Saturday and he looks a little washed up.

This is a young man's league now, you can't afford to carry....anyone!

Ebanks Blake Wolves would be my man, can operate on his own aswell

Holt from Norwich, that's who/what we could do with.

Steve Howard is shit, Leicester fans can't stand him. The only good game he had last season was against us because he was up against Blake and Hudson
