There's a very small line right now between those wanting action taken against those who are a threat to our country and those who use the minority as an excuse to launch a tirade against the majority. I certainly don't feel complaining about our country's immigration policy is necessarily racist but there are those who use it as an opportunity to go overboard and express certain unacceptable views.

I dont think that line is so fine at all. There are a million supporters of the BNP in Britain
and I do not for one second think they are all racist 'thugs'. OR liable to start attacking
immigrants in the street!

It just suits the lily-livered cowardly establishment to brainwash people into thinking
anyone with a less than mega-charitable attitude towards immigration is a RACIST.

Sludge this is my whole point. The common or garden British person who is sick of
the disgrace that is/was Britains immigration policy have no platform to speak out.
None of the mainstream parties will touch immigration with a bargepole, say ANYTHING
that could be remotely related to 'race' and your dead, finished, political career over.
The BNP do have a racist leadership (in my opinion) or they would have millions more
supporting them.

Why, if you say the immigration policy in Britain is a disgrace and we need to
tighten our borders , are you AUTOMATICALLY labelled FAR right.

I hope you are right Sludge, but if you watch the Russia Today News Channel they usually have a very different take.

They were scathing over the truthfulness of the recent foiled printer bomb, claiming instead it was put there by MI5/CIA so they would look to have good intelligence and deflect criticism over their own use of torture as the info was supposed to have come from Saudi Arabia (where it would have almost certainly been extracted using torture)

I just wonder if that conspiracy was true then is this another fabricated situation so that the security services seem to be on top of the problem? Let's be fair neither the US (9/11) nor the UK (7/7) had any idea an attack was coming until it did; now we are supposed to believe they have infiltrated the very close nit Muslim Community.
