Sorry to hear about your loss and I knoe exactly how you feel. Back in the early 90 my dad who was terminally in was in a hospice in Penarth and just before Christmas we were at home to the jacks. I went to see my dad after work as I knew we only had him for another couple of days but being a huge city fan he gave me hell "Plenty of people here to take care of me here the team needs you now bugger off".
I went and we won 1-0 after I got home I ranf to get a message to him only to be given a message he had listened on the radio and knew. He died a few days later on Christmas day and I miss him every day and at every game.
But believe me just like my dad he will be with you every day and of course every game. RIP
