You’re fully entitled to your opinion, but if you are going to say this then where is your proof? How do you know Annis has plucked this information 'out of the air' and how do you know no-one wants him at the club?

It's reasonable to ask what your sources are if you are to make such personal attacks

All I can add is Annis is not alone with his opinion on Jones and I have certainly not been brainwashed. I am utterly sure that even if he turns this slump around he will come up short at the end of the season; he always does because he cannot inspire and his tactics are 15 years behind the times.

Dave Jones is obviously feeling the pressure at the moment - the most likely time a manager will apply for a job elsewhere. Just in time, if the bad run continues, to save his reputation ala Gary Speed.

As you knoww from my posts, I support Dave Jones in his efforts for our beloved club, but that would change rapidly IF he was genuinely touting his name for another job when he has a huge one to complete here....

You only have to read between the lines to know he's being touted. Pretty much every job that comes up, Jones finds himself in the mix.

Why is that? Because of his impecable track record of choking when it really counts and signing abysmal defenders?

In my opinion those lines whilst I agree carry lines of close emotion , are more likely to be linked to a close friend or family member feeding off information relayed to them directly.

In examination style, let me explain,

Admission of a " tough exterior" - that would only be written by one who has experienced his softer side. " It's his dream" again would have to come from someone close past his " tough exterior" to have full knowledge of his dreams . According to Jones himself he expresses it quite often as " just a job"


The reference " nobody at City wants you there" is a blatant quip in reference from " someone" when been informed about what you are writing about said person.

In my opinion these lines come from someone very close to Dave Jones and not of that from someone at the Club. It's more " round the breakfast table" talk.
