Anyway, I thought I read somewhere that the founder of the wdl had closed it down and set up a new group with no racist element?

Totally agree with many of their views, but they are a poorly organised group that are going about things the wrong way if they are trying to stamp out the muslim exstremists from the country...

but the programme tonight will show the english defence league singing songs about muslims in general

I watched a programe last week about the EDL and UAF.
This is my opinion and I may get slated but the UAF are a bunch of tree loving, do-gooding freaks, they cause the most trouble. I am no way saying that the EDL are angels but the problem with the EDL is that they have a number of wannabe nazis who are tagging along. That is not what the EDL stands for. I'm rubbish at describing stuff so just watch the short video below:

I agree with MANY of their ideas re: immigration, colour doesnt come into
it. There are complete racist dickheads amongst them, and thats who we'll
see tonight. As for Islam... It is an untouchable religion. You cannot publicly
state that you think its a load of bollocks cos your a 'racist'.. you cannot call
it a third world cult that belongs back in the middle ages, for fear of being called a

Yea but that is the problem with them... I want the extremists out, but all these guys need some decent guidence, and a belief... Look at these taliban physcos, they are totaly absorbed in what they do, and so clever that none of us know who they are. Thats ridiculous. There ARE plenty of lads who just see Islam as a protected
religion, and they see British Society allowing Muslims to burn poppies and
call for the heads of British soldiers whilst arresting 15 yr old girls for burning
books!!!

THATS why a lot of them march. Its just a shame that A) racists attach themselves

For the sake of balance , it has to be said that the WDL dont blow up buses or put high explosives in their shoes but it also has to be said that those WDL members represented in the programme came across as thick as shit.

cardiff city football club issued a statement distancing themsleves from this and quite right too , we dont want politics of the far right or indeed any extremism at ccfc , they made sure that cardiff citys badge etc was not associated with the edl
