I hope this passion is transmitted to each and every player as soon as they come out of that tunnel on Saturday and lasts for the whole 90 mins and not 45 mins

carlccfc wrote:Obviously many of you will have read what I put out just under an hour ago about Tom Heaton. Tom fell awkwardly yesterday in training and has been ruled out for up to 4 weeks, he is currently on crutches.

If you have been reading my updates you will have read about DJ and some players having fall outs with him over tactics, formations and selection. This week I have been told that DJ and Bellamy have had disagreements for each game since the Swansea match, Bellamy is a fighter and a born winner we all know that but even Neil Warnock, who's office backs on to the away dressing room at Loftus road, was surprised to hear Bellers and DJ screaming at each other after Saturday's defeat. Warnock was seen shaking his head in Disbelief.
It at least goes to show that there is passion in the changing room and that there is a fight in there, my biggest worry would be that it will cause unrest throughout the camp. I am hopeful that this will drive the squad on and not result in a fall out between the players and staff.

Another player who I am told is a little bemused is Chopra, not one who keeps things to himself he too will often speak his mind and I am told that Chops does not understand why he was out of the team on Saturday but he is fit and ready and is hoping to be back in against Preston on Saturday.

Against QPR there were 5 arrests, 4 of which were City fans and the other being a QPR fan but actually got arrested by South Wales Police.

Bristol City away is a bubble match at present and it is not likely to change.

Watford tickets go on sale on Friday and there will be no restrictions to City fans.

Stoke City in the Cup match, we have been allocated 3000 tickets at £15 adults and £5 concessions, there are no restrictions other that a designated RV point for City coaches and minibuses. This decision was based on the excellent behaviour of City fans in the years after the trouble that happened in 2000. We will be running a coach for the forum members to the Britannia Stadium.

Our Boxing day home match against Coventry is already selling well and I have been advised by the club, that those of you who wish to purchase 2 seats sat together need to buy them as soon as possible as they are limited.

This season there will be a Player of the Year awards and this forum will be represented by having 4 tables of 10 at a cost of £55 per head approx. The forum will present 2 trophies and if you wish to join us at the ceremony then deposits will be taken in January.

There is a meeting between Dave Jones and the Malaysians on Friday where the topic of January spending will be discussed. As we have already said, the Malaysians have a plan and the amount Dave gets depends how well we are doing in the league. DJ will be putting his list of players to the board on Friday and he will know then how much of a budget he will have to work with and also what wages he will be allowed to offer any incoming players.

The story run by the South Wales Echo today is nonsense to be honest, Celtic are not interested in signing Mark Hudson and are in fact chasing down the signature of Kelvin Wilson from Forest, who I believe is one of the centre halves that Dave Jones is interested in.

Regarding Glenn Loovens, it is not a secret that DJ tried to bring him back in the summer and the clubs agreed a deal but Glenn turned it down to fight for a place in Glasgow, I am told that City will go back with and make another enquiry and they will again be told that they can have Glenn and the price they will have to pay is £1.5million, whether the club pay that or if Glenn wishes to return remains to be seen but I am fairly confident that he will not be returning under some loan arrangement.

There is still no sign of improved contracts for Burke, Bothroyd or Matthews, I know that Bothroyd and Burke are likely to assess the situation in May but I understand that Matthews is not entirely happy as he is not getting much game time and the kid just wants to be playing football.

I am again told that Chris Riggott is being trained for a mid December long awaited debut.

Some very good and encouraging news off the pitch, for the 3rd month running the club has beaten it's own targets of ticket sales that it sets itself each and every month, for the month between 25th October 2010 and 28th November 2010 the club set a target of £201.265.00 but actually they took a fantastic £293.000.76. That equates too an average of £17.64 per ticket.

It is excellent to see the club making money above their targets and long may it continue.

Cheers mate, I haven't read replies, but I am a little worried about the problems in the dressing room. Bellamy and Chops I should imagine ARE VERY STRONG CHARACTERS and I would much rather see them both happy and fully behind the manager.

Time will but thats a real worry to me and a test of Dave Jones man management skills !!!

Thnks for the update Carl. Hope we can hold onto mAtthews think he could be an important player for us. Also wouldn't mind seeing Wilson playing for us good player at this level and would form a tidy partnership with riggot when fit :ayatollah:

I hope we don't contemplate paying 1.5m for Loovens because IMO it would be a complete waste of money :x

Re: Sticky : " Wednesday 01st DECEMBER 2010 Update "

Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:04 pm

Thanks once again, I think there are better centre halfs available than Loovens for that kind of money. :ayatollah:

Re: Sticky : " Wednesday 01st DECEMBER 2010 Update "

Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:07 pm

To be honest I am concerned that there is fall outs in the dressing room as we have had another dreadful November so I think it is affecting the play on the pitch.

After the shit tactics of the jacks game Jones deserves to told what a gutless manager he is and maybe if had a bit more guts then we maybe F A Cup winners and in the Prem this season as he bottles it every big game.

We can not do the same in the premiership we have to be like Blackpool go for it as they will tear us apart

Great update again Carl thanks mate

Good update.
Glad to see someone on our team with a bit of passion, Bellamy could teach the lot of them a couple of lessons.

isn't that what happened at Liverpool. You can only have one manager.
Bellers has rather a lot of clubs.I wonder why.
Some call it passion others call it madness.
As a manager he'd be a Roy keane.

Gimme a Roy Keane before a Dave Jones anytime (has he ever beaten a Roy Keane team? - once I think against Sunderland and lost the other game agains Sunderland and beaten every time by Ipswich). Infact I got a great Idea - sack Dave Jones and make Bellamy player manager

Showing passion is great but if Bellamy continues to try to undermine Jones then send him back to Manchester City.

I saw Heaton last night, he is quite dissapointed, naturally. He said his lay off was more precautionary than anything. Hope he gets fit soon. Chops and Bellamy were both in good spirits. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Only a matter of time till Bellamy's in charge...Players have no faith in Mr Jones tactics and formations, maybe now's the time time for change..
