[quote="Hofmeister"]tbh, if our fans were into racism, secterianism or loyalist/right wing politics (like our neighbours slightly west down the M4), I would have never become a Cardiff fan...
absolute no-go for me[/quot
what is starting to piss me off is the ccfc/celtic love in which some people are starting to promote down the city
it pissed me off to see a celtic flag down the jack game f**k the provo bastards

same for me to see some promoting Rangers on here or at the CCS...
would never fly another team's banner at our club, we are Cardiff...
however, I have a softspot for Celtic, always had. but that is just my personal opinion

may be not youurself, but there are... but i am with you, that we shouldn't have flags of other clubs on display. regardless if Celtic or Rangers or whatever...

tbh yes, as it is a political symbol... wouldn't mind a St. George's Cross with CCFC on it or a Northern Ireland flag (unless it is used like the Jacks have it "Swansea Loyal"

).
same goes for the other side, no probs with the Derry Bluebirds Irish tricolour, wouldnt accept an Irish flag with a pro IRA slogan or the Starry Plough...
dont like CCFC to be associated with any political or religious cr@p. FFS it's football, our passion for our club and not bout politics...

i don't see it as a political symbol it the flag of the UK the country we live in. been thinking of having one made but im not the flag waving tvpe
didn't like the shamrock rovers tricolour if it was a tricolour wuith ccfc thats different
Fri Nov 12, 2010 2:18 am
dont mind the SRFC tricolour as it was taken by visiting (& friendly) Rovers fans supporting the City. Same would go for e.g. Hearts fans with a Scottish flag...
I do see the UJ as a political flag, as it represents a political Union GB (Wales, Scotland, England) & NI...
I see Wales as it's own country, which is part or within a political and economical administration (dunno if these are the right words)...
Wales got it's own heritage, language, culture, art, identity... same goes for the Scots and the English, in my view they are all countries, part in a political state...

Pot and kettle here ....eleven years of this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_c ... %93present)and the government are raising emotions, in the general public, by displaying the lads, showing the fatalities of the lads, the disfigurement etc....they are using the lads as fodder and when all is done they will be drinking with the Taliban heirarchy......look at Gerry Adams, Mc Guinness and Paisley...........they couldn't give two fucks about my mates brother (from the welsh guards) who was killed by the provos....f**k me McGuinness would've given the order.........it's a big scam, they use religion and nationalism to bring armies together to fight thier dirty wars and the top brass sit in safe bunkers giving orders....when it's all over they make friends with their top brass and share the spoils..........it's a bit like your arch enemy, the lad you always scrapped with as a kid, you're the best of mates now aren't you?

johnny im not saying i support the war in afganistan or iraq, but i do support our boys who are there and have the greatest respect for members of our armed forces
as far as the "freedom fighters" from both sides in ni most of the men in charge used the "war" to line their own pockets
the prime example was a top ira man in south armagh who made millions out of smuggling and had no problems making money by doing buiness with loyalists
i wish people would look passed whats going on now and their political veiws give respect to to those who have fought and died for this country
