Think we have to accep this is part of becoming a bigger club.

We're attracting a dfferent fan and they're as welcome as the singers surely? The NP singers are still here but the new stadium, bigger cowds make it seem more subdued.

I'm siting in the Ninian surrounded by pensioners, young families and all are enjoying the football, singing the odd song and all love the City. As an example i had a 80 year old man sittng next to me who wouldnt have been able to enjoy if everyone was standing and was welcmed by all around.

He said to me hal time - look at the football we're playing and the crowd and families, its's brilliant.

from the Grandstand i think the Canton Stand is def the nosiest part,
Ninian stand should be as it is nearest part to away fans, but they cant seem to keep a chant going for more than 30 seconds.
When at Ninian used to be a bloke in block A of grandstand that would get dAVEY jOES Barmy Army going, he kept going and going even when others tried to stop, in the end it encouraged the others and wld be like a wave going along to block C of grandstand....thats what is needed, keep it going and you will find it will make others join in.

What the Club needs is our own 'Super fan" Pompey have the bloke with the bell, Leicester and Spurs have a guy with a drum, Sheff Weds have their jazz band, we have . . .???? nothing to encourage an atmosphere. That's what's needed. Someone or something to congregate around.

There are a group of guys in the Canton ( about 6 - 10 of them) block 104 who keep the 'Barmy Army' chant going for 15 to 20 mins at a time. Yesterday they had the 'Jason Koumas' thing going. I 'm in the corner, Block 103, and me and my Mrs join in but loads around them don't. That's just the way it is.







Stop moaning about it

Yeah the guys at the back of 104 are awsome there's only 2-3 of them but they sing their hearts out every game we just need a few more of them in the quieter sections to get the chain reaction going. What dont help is when all to moaning and complaining like when Norwich were on a sustained attack. For f*** sake we were 2-0 to the good at that point, and it must piss the players right off!

This could mean the difference between automatic promotion this year, us getting behind the team not just when we're winning but also when we're losing or having a battle on our hands. Do we need to hand out song sheets or what? at least if they know the words they got more chance of opeing their mouth's and joining in ???

Im in the canton also, we go in at 108 and our seat is row i 640 & 641 and we are not that far away from the guys that stand and sing. I think we have 2 problems ,It goes very silent when the other team is on the attack and everyone is holding there breath cos we know our defenders is a bit wobbly. and when we are on the attack they start again. But also its the same old same, YOU are my Cardiff My only Cardiff., ok thers nothing wrong with that , but time after time after time it gets a little boring. and I hear people around me saying or god play another tune. Look at the Tv and you can hear them all over the other grounds. WE need something of our own , Thats why I suggested that Welsh one, its got a real message to it for us, and its got plenty of Go in it. The Canton is great in the middle, I guess we draw comparison to the grange too much. Its probably the same crowd just the stand is so much bigger

We will grow I'm sure we should make the Canton a singing only stand, if you dont sing you get moved
