Pretty sure I was there on the bob bank that day, if memory serves, it was the Jacks who started it by trying to rip the fencing down between the grange end and us.
Fence came down, invisible wall went up. Funny that.

I went over them railings,a bus had dropped them off at the top of the pitch.

About 10 of us were in the Grandstand that day, Could see something from where we were, but after the match we went to Blackpool for a couple of days, put News at Ten on in the B&B and that was on the headlines

I was one of the ones on the pitch in 85 (if that was the year)

After the game about 30 of us went round the North Bank waiting for them
to come out. I was about 21, always remember these older scary looking
fuckers growling at us, but they never came into us. Sadly, we seemed to
forget there was more than one way out of the end
They came at us from everywhere, all angles. It was the only part of the
SC crew book that i disagreed with DJ on. He said we got legged right back
up the road. We never, we just got caned!! As i was getting back up
off the deck with my shirt ripped off and my eye hanging out I spied Gethin
from London getting nicked, wearing my new burberry golf jacket
Cardiff were coming from everywhere then too. But the OB were on top.
I'll give them that one, but it was a handful of us taking on hundreds. I couldnt
piss for a week :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I just dont get that? Dont doubt you, but we were right there at the front, took a
pasting, but when we got up more Cardiff had arrived, more coppers etc etc. You
lot must have had their whole end chasing u up the road then
...When the tide turned against us i must have already been on my arse doing an
impression of a punchbag :(

I think i got off lightly

I was there,we were surrounding by jacks like ants on a grasshopper  There is a picture in someones avatar and Annis's book of us on their pitch that day.
We held our own going back to the station, they had a mob of about 500 in front of us and we charged them and they split into two and ran.If they'd stuck together we would have been fucked.

this has to be the same one im talking about,we went into the swansea end behind the goal, when swansea thought we were cardiff and they came over we started to sing swansea songs, after a while we ran on the pitch, which i carried on and jumped in the north bank, soon realised everyone ran back so had to climb the fence to get back over with swansea fans grabbing at my feet.my mate shoe came off on the pitch and he asked a copper could he get it lol.i can also remember cardiff fans being hit by house bricks being thrown from behind us,and ducky being hit and covered in blood im sure thats when we went round to the north bank.i have also read this story in one of soul crew books which states it was all neath boys got to disagree there,i remember lot of rumney/trowbridge/llanrumney boys having a go at the north bank anyway it's over 25 yrs ago now,wow that hurt saying that

To the right hand side of us in that end, some jacks came through a bit of building
work, so we hopped over a wall to have it with them. Too many of us so they pegged
it. I threw a brick to say tara and it was like Crocodile Dundee, hit this fucker on the
back of his swede and he hit the deck like he'd been shot. I was slightly worried in case
he was dead  ... anyway, maybe he was one of the lads jumping up and down on
my head later so alls fair in love and war eh?.. I'm in the pic on the pitch. We were
trying to get on the fence but jacks were poking us with brollies and allsorts and twatting
us through the fence so I'm sorry I never joined you in there feller :?
