Vintage 63 wrote:so are there currently CCFC risk supporters then in the eyes of the Law and are the SWP and Mr Insole going to publish such a list so we the innocent supporter can avoid these people ? If the letter of the Law is to be used then it could be said that the various writers and contribitors to the various books can be seen as being Risk Supporters too , for example Gwyn has related many stories in his book BUT does that make him a Risk supporter for witnessing more then 3 incidents ?

All seems just an excuse by the Police to issue banning orders without any other justification then a simple case of " I was there " .

Martyn, I know that if youve been involved in anything over 10 yrs ago then it does Not come in to consideration regarding a Civil Ban.

Good argument/case. but when they asses you for a Civil Ban they dont see it that way.

What does being a "risk suppporter" carry (e.g. Is it an arrestable offence)? Surely for not actually throwing punches, kicks, etc. They cannot ban you for violent behaviour or being a football hooligan?

So the 10 people in the mad train woman incident, are now two thirds away from being a risk supporter, when all they did was catch the train home.

What can we do as supporters ? Can we go on other forum's and start an action group. A general whole football supporters group that can challenge the legality of this. A voice of us the supporters. Bring this out into the open. If you have not committed an offence then its against your human rights to be punished for something you have not done

Sadly it will go against them, even though THIS WEEK they had a letter from their Solicitors Saying, Case is Dropped.

By being a 'risk supporter' they can charge you with affray as long as there is more than three people, you only have to be stood there. The punishment is jail.

So three times on film near trouble you are liable to end up in crown court facing jail.
