SO CRAIG BELLAMY DOES NOT EVEN PUT ONE CARDIFF CITY PLAYER

I wonder if he has a grudge against us regarding the bullying controversy. He's seen to pick players for the squad but other than Lawlor nobody seems to get a look in with Ashford & Joel not even on the bench... I think it probably is time for him to go as he is too stubborn to play what are obviously better players than his favourites and we are sliding down the rankings alarmingly.

Who should he be picking from our squad apart from Lawlor. If Rubin was fit there's a good argument for him to play but under normal circumstances if Wilson is available you pick Wilson every time

My mum at 93 would have put more effort in than Johnson he stays on the pitch for nearly the entire game avoiding the ball

Joe or Ashford would have at least put a shift in and both are more worthy than Cullen to be sat on the bench

They are kids it's Ashford first call up I bet he's chuffed. Joel has 2 caps and has one season of league one football under his belt. Take your rose colour glasses off. They've earned calls ups not starts and your talking about 2 players that aren't nailed on starters for us yet.

No rose coloured specs here - yes you are correct when saying they are not guaranteed starters for us yet, but imo they are fighting to get in ahead of better players for us than Bellamy picks consistently for Wales. Would you really rather see Savage than Joel start and surely Ashford is worth a look as Johnson offers absolutely nothing most of the time. Do you really believe Cullen, Harris, Sheehan are better than our youngsters who fight for their places and give 100% every game. Why bother calling them up and then not even have them on the bench during a rancid performance from our established midfield/strike force like we saw yesterday and then have no real options to try something different. Sorry but some of these players have had enough chances and do nothing to justify being picked game after game.

For me, success for any Wales manager is to qualify for a major tournament. That's the most any Welsh fan can realistically expect. Anything else is a bonus. The idea that Wales could "win" anything is as ridiculous as saying Cardiff City can win the Champions League.

That's what I'd expect a manager to acheive, especially with the major tournaments being increased in size - a feat which proved beyond Bellamy in the World Cup.

For me, success for any Wales manager is to qualify for a major tournament. That's the most any Welsh fan can realistically expect. Anything else is a bonus. The idea that Wales could "win" anything is as ridiculous as saying Cardiff City can win the Champions League.

That's what I'd expect a manager to acheive, especially with the major tournaments being increased in size - a feat which proved beyond Bellamy in the World Cup.

I see your point. But the increase in size doesn’t change the fact we are in by far the hardest section. Most European countries have squads of our level or better. I for one am not a fan of international football really can’t see the attraction unless you soley support wales and have no affiliation with a club.

No one would do any better in my opinion. But when people think Cardiff city non starters are you to rip up the top tier of international football it does make me chuckle.
