Re: Poll: Should Craig Bellamy be sacked?

i think Bellamy has to stay until a suitable replacement is found.
pointless for him to leave if we have no one ready and waiting for the job.

Wales got a under par squad compared to other countries what are people expecting with championship, div 1 players and bench boys plus the odd prem starter. I'm a bit confused who is going to work a miracle Vs teams with top elite players from other country's playing in the best leagues for top end sides.

I've never got in to the whole international football thing but just looking in from the outside. To me they got lucky before but are light years behind other country's to pick players from and always will so I expect nothing different whoever the manager should be. Alot of mates go everywhere with them so I feel there pain.

The guy is turning out to be a complete tool. His team selections are bizarre to say the least but the 40 second interview I saw on the BBC website just made him look like a man who does not understand what he is trying to achieve. :bluebird:

As a country we have no place in the top league of the Nations League.

Unless we are winning the second level Nations League, the whole thing has no benefit.

With that in mind, I would be playing the younger players including U21's in this campaign.

May seem a bit random but can only benefit the next generation of Welsh players.

I've never rated him since he got sacked from our youth team for bullying then since becoming wales manager he just doesn't pick cardiff players even over league one come on Mark Harris savage doesn't even make the reading team time for him to walk away or someone drive him away

Was he ‘sacked’ from his Bluebird role? :?

The fact: Craig Bellamy voluntarily stepped down from his role as Under-18s coach at Cardiff City FC in January 2019 to cooperate with an internal investigation into bullying allegations.

Not quite as you stated, is it?

Wasn't it said at the time it was all parents with an axe to grind and kids being too soft?

One particular (ex-pro) footballer, who couldn’t take his son being told (a modern issue), so the accusation was made via the club and then the media

Craig stepped away before (eventually) an internal investigation by Cardiff City found a lack of safeguarding processes and an unacceptable coaching environment, but did not name individuals in its findings.

Craig apologised if he had inadvertently offended anyone, acknowledging that the report highlighted aspects of his coaching methods that could be improved, but no charges were ever laid at his door
