I have absolutely no issues with differing views, that's politics.

So I’ve been a season ticket holder for around 10 years now. But in my past life I was very much (sorry) an egg chaser. I’d go to all the wales games. Followed my local club. Went on a lions tour.

While I think football could learn things from rugby. Namely stopping the clock for stoppages.

Drinking in the stands is not one of those things.

It’s not fair to compare to club rugby as the clubs I watched were very small local sides and as such have few people there and most know each other. Interestingly no one drank watching the games.

A fairer comparison is intentional where the crowds can be similar. And frankly it’s horrible. You go to see the game. Pissed up people are back and forth every few minutes either going to the toilet, buying more beers or both. You get splashed as they walk past. Splashed as it tips behind you and splashed when someone scores or the fan gets annoyed.

And that’s for 80 not 90 minutes.

Football. None of that. The odd older chap may need a toilet break but for the most part we are all there for the game. By all means have a beer at half time and pre purchase options are a good idea.

It’s totally unnecessary and will worsen the match day experience for all the many reasons we probably all can see happening.

It’s worth noting, most (non-footballing) venues, including the MillStad, close their bars 20 minutes before the end of the game

The fights that this will create when bell ends start chucking beer in the air will be weekly and in the ground will be numerous. I like a drink but at both football and rugby I actually want to watch the match. Neither do I want to be getting up and down for a piss every 5 minutes or guzzling a pint at half time.
In fact like the police said at least 90 minutes off gives those who are on it all day to have a couple of hours off.

Alcohol is also banned on buses and trains going to football matches. Our supporters bus was always being pulled over by plod and searched.

They intend to cut or abolish business rates for independent businesses, while rising them for the likes of Amazon. Reduce taxes and grow the economy. They have “promised” to stop the small boat invasion and put British people first. Problem is, they all talk a good game, while in opposition but seldom deliver when in government. At a Welsh level I love how Reform hold the cosy little Plaid/Labour uniparty to account. They’ve had no scrutiny for 25 years and everything had deteriorated. At a national level I’d like to see Farage step aside and Malcolm Offord take over.
