If you watched that and thouught Tanner played well then I don't know what to say.
The amount of times he gave the ball away cheaply and was so slow getting back.
And, although he's certainly not the only culprit, as a forward player his finishing is simply woeful.
We dominated. The result is down to poor finishing. Look at Salech and Moylan for that. Tanner done his bit gave the ball away no more than anyone else, he's the boards favourite scapegoat though. If fingers are to be pointed it's at the guys blowing chance after chance not the bloke creating them

Tanner is one of those also "blowing chance after chance". Open goal against Stoke, terrible header at the back post against Portsmouth, piss poor shot at the end today that went wide so you can also include Tanner very much in the "poor finishing" category.
Willock much more of a threat today than Tanner yet he gets taken off and Tanner plays the full 90.
He's not a scapegoat. There's no way today's defeat was in any way his fault any more than anybody else's. It's just that, in my valueless opinion, he's not a Championship standard player, as he proved last time we were in the Championship and he was part of a team that got relegated.

And he should have left salech on to play alongside Ashford? His subs don't male sense half the time! For 2nd game made 90+ min subs whats that about? He just doesn't help himself with some of his decision making.

Yes he should have left Salech on. Maybe fans shouldn't be going on and on about Robinson being the best finisher and deserving to come on when Salech isn't firing. He came on today because of the press questions this week. Did Robinson touch the ball? At least Salech was in position to miss chances

He almost scored, the keeper made yet another good save.

Did Robinson even touch the ball you say??
Did you watch the game or listen to it on the radio?
You normally very sensible and fair in your posts. But that question was ridiculous, I’ve lost a lot of respect for you for that childish remark.
He had 15 mins and played pretty well during the time he was on. Salach did a bit better today but things just aren’t going his way. I get you like salach but saying things that simply aren’t true to try make salach look like the better option is embarrassing mate.

A lot of people on this forum have very short memories of the pure dross we have had to endure prior to BBM taking charge.
Simple fact is that some of the starting eleven today reached there level last season in league 1.
Like many have said our manager has not been backed, so Will he turn it around ? Only if you give him time and not the knee jerk reactions on here today.
Be careful what you wish for

At times this team is awful to watch. Passing backwards sideways continuously while the other team sit and watch ready to pick it up once we fluff it up up front. It is generally better to watch but it is currently far from effective and gets very frustrating a lot of the time.

If you enjoy sideways and backwards; then I’m please for you.
He’s completely out of his depth and he’ll be gone soon. We’ll end up with another fire-fighter and the circus will go on. Nathan Jones will absolutely be licking his lips for Saturday.

How is 17 shots with 10 on target sideways & backwards? How many would you expect?
He needs to be given time not a knee jerk reaction.

I'll give him a pass on that this time as Bolton scored on 89 minutes & something seconds.

We dominated large parts of the game but didn't take our chances, then Bolton get a smash and grab winner at the end.
We have ourselves to blame for not taking chances but it's another game where we dominated large parts and not got the win. Their keeper made some good saves but there were chances we should have taken.
Good thing is we are playing well and I do believe the wins will come.
The manager and his coaches are doing everything they can, but the players need to be taking the chances or we'll have more days like this.
Alex Robertson MOTM for me.
Spot on in all areas, Ned![]()
Things will change positively soon, I’m convinced of that, but I’m thinking the automatic places are already out of reach!![]()
Chris, I agree with Worcester as well. Although it’s worrying I think we’ll be ok in terms of not fighting relegation.
I’m more positive than you though I think we can still get automatic promotion.
39 straight wins and we’re there!![]()
