Barry-Murphy desperate for first win

Brian Barry-Murphy says Cardiff City are "starving" for their first Championship win as they prepare to face fellow promoted side Bolton Wanderers.

The Bluebirds have gone six league games without a victory, but Barry-Murphy insists his only focus is on getting his side over the line rather than worrying about relegation so early in the campaign.

"We play for this club in front of our supporters. We have to produce enough end product and enough goalmouth action to give us a chance to score goals and win," he said.

"That's our sole focus. We're not complacent with anything we've done. Far from it.

"We're starving to produce a performance that allows us to win and win quickly."

Cardiff have been beaten in their last two away games, while their previous two home matches against Sheffield United and Stoke City ended in draws.

I don’t see it as a non issue,I’d rather see a young outfielder on the bench.Makes more footballing sense :banghead:

But they won’t get on. So what’s the benefit?

Experience :bluescarf:

Of sitting down? joke,
match day experiance

Because they won' t get on according to you,
where as the outfield may get on not just through injures.

So who really cares.

Can we use 7 subs or 5?

I thought 5 out of the 9

Up to 5 subs in total in three separate exchanges

I’m with you on the ‘we can win’ statement today (with or without three keepers in the pitch)! :ayatollah:

Today we have a strong team today but the bench is weak ….only 3 can make an impact …Turnbull , Ashford and Robinson .

Putting two keepers on the bench is silly and taking liberties and not a good reflection on the maturity and seriousness of our manager, I am a big BBM Fan. …..even if sending messages ….it is still silly .
