I agree with the OP that this was a very disappointing game, but today the issues lay at the feet of the onfield XI, who made way too many unforced errors…again!

Rubin should be starting, Joel should also be ahead of Turnbull. Rubin offered nothing after coming on, Joel was a bit better.

Both would be subs for majority of other teams in Championship on current showings.

The only positions we are well equipped is at 8, 10 and left back.

Rubin didn't have much of a preseason probably shouldn't have played against Wrexham at all by what BBM said and didn't look up to much when he came on today, think he needs a bit more time before he can do every minute. Joel would be one of the first names on my team sheet I rate him above everyone bar Moylan and Rubin

Are they undercooked? Pep and Fergie planned to peak at Christmas for the second half. Has BBM left them a little underprepared to last through this brutal season with a smaller squad?

Ahhhh come on he played great in the Derby and Sheffield games and the free kick

We need to take our chances show a little more composure when in front of goal ,final third there needs to be much more movement and the big man needs to start holding the ball up and come alive in the box atm he's standing there like a subutio man waiting for the ball to land on his head ,and the balls into the box must be better at times we are trying to walk the ball in the net it's not worth keeping on about transfer window etc it is what it is he Murphy needs to change formation or try something a bit different

He did in the Derby game to be fair. And decent in the Sheffield match and to be honest I’d be happy with trying him up front instead of salach, maybe that’s his position for us, one last chance to prove me wrong.

Fair point regarding Rubin. I think Rubin, Joel and Robertson are all better in the 8 position.

Moylan is our most exciting player. He offers something different with his 1st thought being to go forward.

Its the 6 position causing us massive problems. We commit men forward and any loose pass sees us wide open with nobody protecting the centre backs.

Could Lawlor do a job in there? Calm and composed on the ball.

Too slow going forwards with nobody with any balls to have a go and shoot.
No lessons learnt by BBM from Wednesday with too many players repeatedly left high up the pitch leaving us vulnerable to counter attack.
Serious questions about BBM need answering regarding his 3 keepers act of petulance.
Playing Turnball and Robertson results in zero creativity and are so slow. Backwards and sideways. Both of them also shocking defensively. Yet Joel Colwill who yes is not perfect, at least has some spark or energy. Completely nuts.
You’d honestly think our players and staff are paid per pass. 60%+ possession and lose comfortably.
If you were the opposition you’d be quite happy to let us fanny around with it in the centre of the park, as you know we can’t defend. Not sure what they do in training (except laugh and feck about) but when was the last time you saw a well exercised set price? A free kick, corner or throw-in? Is pilling everyone onto the keeper whilst knocking the ball nowhere near them a set play? God knows.
We need better throughout the whole club. From top to bottom. No wonder coaching staff are leaving. I actually feel sorry for Moylan. What on hell must he be thinking.
