Are we in a better position than when we were relegated?

I’ve put about the same. Solely because I have differing opinions on it.
1. Murphy did what he had to do last season and did it well, albeit in a very poor division and he had the best squad in my option by a long shot. I think if Riza was in charge we would have also have come straight up.

2. I have no reason to think Murphy can’t go on and improve us again this season as he has very little experience at this level. If he is as good as most belle then we are in a better position. But I will sit on the fence here and hold judgement to see if he is the real deal, as he’s the main difference from last time squad strength at the moment I’d say about the same as before.

What drugs are you on? Can I have some? Riza was Clueless. End of Chat. He could no more have motivated the team to come straight back up than my chances of spending the night naked with Kiera Knightley. He was a lughing stock among the media, the fans, and more importantly the players. They knew he was clueless - a nice guy, but out of his depth. Go and have a lie down.

Relax mate. It’s just my opinion. League 1 is such a poor standard and we had the best squad even you and I could have got city up last season.

And no you can’t have any of my drugs, get your own. Lol.

It's one thing doing it in league one with arguably the best squad in the league but the Championship is a different beast! I like BBM though and trust him to do a good job.

Great experience for the younger lads so they will have improved no doubt but how often do we see players who look top quality in league one but below standard in the Championship? This is the real question.

Some of our experienced heads are another year towards retirement such as Chambers and Robinson and two of our stand out players from the league one campaign aren't here anymore.

The team that got relegated should have been mid table so at this point I'd say we need 2/3 quality additions.

I would like to change my mind on this , I saw the passion and the togetherness in this squad last night . This is so important and you can’t buy that .
This squad including manager is the best I have seen . We are lucky , something great is evolving in front of our eyes .

I feel our only issue is goals , look at our side s stats with goals to games
I think we ll hold our own around the pitch , but no cheap goals in this league
Salech he frustrates me , the guy just never learns every time the ball goes near him he gets pulled up for something

Better position by a mile
We have a team that wants to play for the shirt and a manager that believes in them .
I think we ll struggle for goals , the championship has gone up a level or two think we ll have plenty of the ball but we struggle against counter attacking teams

I thought the depleted squad did very well after the half-hour mark, and after a nightmare start, with every player doing their best to make a difference

There were some first game issues, but the passion, togetherness, and determination were there, and the goal celebration at the end showed that in spades

Brian Barry Murphy (BBM to his friends ) is developing something good at Cardiff City FC, and we should appreciate that now, not in 10 years time when we are looking back and it’s too late!
