I think it’s a bit of a condescending remark Worcester so let’s leave it there. The forum is for opinions on footy. Just one thing - except for loans - how many purchases have we actually made in the last 2 years? This is what makes me annoyed not your opinion of which you have every right to state.

What a strange comment from that person.

Moylan was nominated for Player of the Season, none of our players were. Wintle was a defensive midfielder, Moylan is an attacking player.

Just look at how annoyed the Lincoln fans are. Or for anyone who actually watched Moylan last season, will know he's a good player.

In our squad, only Salech scored more than Moylan last season. Moylan isn't even a striker, he's a midfielder.

He usually posts negative comments when it's been shown on here as his fb reply.

I have no idea why this Leshoes guy keeps getting posted on here also.

I agree, he’s one of the silliest people ever and talks nonsense.

Thought that was me.Ha.

Fair do’s with your comment Monty but you definitely seem to be improving lately!

Why are you choosing to ignore loans? They count as signings too. And I have no idea, look it up if you want. But we know the manager deliberately didn't sign many last summer.

I will repeat what I have said endlessly. One that we will sign players and two that it does take time to get things done.

Like I've said on another thread, can't wait for this month to end so we don't endlessly bang on about transfers or listen to fake rumours and lies.

We will bring in players.

Of course it takes time to finalise transfers and announce them. You have to do personal terms, the contract, pictures, interviews etc.

It was only reported on Saturday too.

As soon as I read Wintle was our playmaker I stopped reading this guys post.

Just let it go Brezza mate, these 3 are like a pack of hyenas when they get going. The opinions of us mere mortals don't matter - and often become a source of amusement to them. What are we to do!

Agree with you though, we need players in, we need them to gel and we want them settled before the start of the season. That's what pre-season is all about. This window has been painfully slow. I'm the opposite to wanting it to end...I want it to f'ing start FFS.

All that's been pointed out is that people had to stop reading because of a strange description of Wintle and from my part, that we had a difference of opinion - particularly when the first reports of this potential transfer were only on Saturday, not like it was two weeks ago.

Lincoln City CEO Liam Scully says he expects Jack Moylan to join Cardiff City this summer.

"The deal isn't done yet and there's still a bit to go,but it on course.”

Re: UPDATED: It looks like Cardiff will Finally Sign AND :

I have a feeling that Moylan’s announcement will be tomorrow, and we’re unlikely to see any other incoming transfers until after Wrexham

My opinions not based on anything, so don’t attach too much value to it.. just a prediction

It’s also for my own sanity because the Jens situation had me checking this forum far too frequently haha

Look at the sarcasm in your response here compared to Monty's - this is why u clash with so many people on here. Monty was simply trying to clear up what Brezza meant with his comments, backing up the reason why he might have used the word 'playmaker'...but you've gone straight in to try and belittle his football knowledge/intelligence...and surprise surprise, Sven's jumped in behind you too.

For the record, don't you think the first receiver off the defenders/GK isn't some kind of playmaker? Wasn't Wintle the one, who with his back to goal, often turned and started an attack? I would have thought a lot of attacking moves actually started from Wintle. He's not creative or a flair type player, but a deep lying playmaker...f&$k yeah. He had more assists that the 'goldenboy' too.

For the record, I don’t ‘back’ Ned; he can more than think/speak for himself!

What I do, is agree or disagree with him and/or many others on this Forum, depending on the topic of the moment

When/if I get it wrong, I will apologise and take ownership, as Monty and others will confirm, but I won’t be cowed as a poster either. It’s people like you (and others) who bring the ‘moderator’ word up as a cheap tool, despite (to my knowledge) our paths never crossing on that front

There won’t be an apology on this topic and I respect the right of others to have an opposing view, including you, who contributed nothing but criticism to the pot!

Re Wintle, I was a supporter, and I felt we missed him (a lot) when he wasn’t playing, but I back BBM in his decision to replace him this coming Championship (not League One) season

That’s my personal opinion, of course!

Wintle was player of the season and deserved it, he had a great season but that’s not the point.

My only point was whatever way somebody glosses over it he was not a playmaker in the team. End of.

Ned I was trying to point out playmaker midfield ochestrator midfield dynamo are just words ,so maybe someone might not get the right terminology to describe, but not definetly is not to take the p.ss or mock someone ,and i do know a bit about football at 67 have spent my life around football.
Anyway lets not fall out about terminology.

Wintle seems to come up daily.

Why didnt a single championship club go in for a free transfer who a section of this forum seem upset that he left for.... MK Dons??

Robertson is our current replacement, and with a full/engaged pre-season is twice the player.

Four weeks to go in the transfer window; we are slow off the mark. I trust BBM, and I think he has Tan eating out of his hands, so it's going to be a busy four weeks. Looking forward to seeing who we have on September 2nd and the season ahead.
