Rog, the 2 clubs mentioned have always been keeping an eye on things. Nothing changed really. Hate putting things out that I hear just in case not correct but 2 rumours about this transfer from today look positive.

Andrew, hold on to your beliefs in the transfer. Nothing has actually changed at this current time, and the Bluebirds are hoping to make an announcement on more than one player over the next few days

Sadly, there are one or two on here who don’t want any signings, as it suits their negative narrative

If anyone genuinely believes the club and/or BBM don’t ‘have a plan’, they are deluded

As always, despite the mockery of the likes of davids (who contributes little of note), these things do take time; particularly when the selling club are trying to ‘milk’ the situation for their own ends

If BBM wants the player, the club should back him, and they should only bring in those players BBM believes will improve the squad, not just add to it!

The big difference this season are:
A huge jump in standard of league to play in.
BBM has had a full end of last season and a pre season to get his players in which he didn't have last season.
Dahl / Tromso using City to invite other interested teams to bid higher.
If a player wants to leave a club then put a transfer request in & down tools.
As far as I am aware Dahl has done none of these
We kick off our season in less than 3 weeks time.
We are missing three coaches / Under 21 manager.
We are missing replacements for Wintle, Kellyman and Scanlon.
You can not tell me this is all part of the plan!

I'd call it a gentle ribbing rather than a mockery personally.

The club are keeping future signings well under wraps, still really only this target in the press and being discussed.

After the comments he made the other night, it doesn’t come across as he’s massively keen on signing for us.

The draw of European football from somewhere like Feyenoord might be a bigger pull for the lad.

I just hope the club make a wise decision on this and don’t end up paying a substantial amount for a lad who’s not really in to it.

I’ve heard that he was more keen on joining Rangers than us, only what I heard from a meeting the other night.

Again, that seems to be the correct narrative currently, and it’s only the structure of the deal that remains to be sorted

Annis makes a valid point regarding his ‘preference’ to go to Rangers, but they haven’t met Tromso’s valuation and have since bought another player. They are now looking at a winger and a defender; one further a fee and one likely on loan (quoted by the Rangers manager)

I don’t read too much into the players (supposed) comment, as I’m sure most players would have a ‘preferred’ club in their minds; but I genuinely think he’d grow to love our city, our club (under BBM), and our supporters!

I'm hoping he has a similar impact to Aron Gunnarsson, and becomes BBM's modern, technically gifted, high level passing, six-foot-four central midfielder version.

Have you actually looked at the clubs who play in it .. miles ahead of any Norwegian league, and Cardiff have Man City’s Pep's understudy as their manager, who only aims on developing young elite talent. You need to research a bit more before posting. West Ham, Bayern Munich, and Dortmund, to name a few, are all actively scouting and looking to make a move on a number of Cardiff’s elite young talent. There’s a conveyor belt of pure quality at Cardiff City at the moment; it’s the place to be for any young elite talented player. Perfect move for him.”

Hard to disagree with this, so I won’t!

The guy at Bluebird corner also posted last weekthat the fee was agreed, the player had agreed terms and the transfer would be finalised by Monday.

The point is that nobody has any idea what the position is except those at both clubs.

And that's how it should be really.

That seems fair, especially after the last couple years where leaks and stories seem to have dried right up and probably for the better so other teams can't get a sniff of anything we may or may not be after
