I am off on Hols next week - Will be surprised if anything happens with this one when I get back

It’s being reported by 2 different sources (in the last hour or two) that personal terms have been arranged with Rangers. We move on.

Reported by ‘Yahoo Sport’ and ‘Give me Sport’. Both saying exactly the same thing- not sure how reliable they are tho.

Is 173k a high number for such a pundit? I genuinely don’t know!
I would be very surprised if the player kept all his eggs in one basket and actually stated ‘
only Rangers or nothing!’ but he may have expressed a ‘
preference’
His club are clearly trying to maximise his value, so whilst it may be the case, until we hear officially either way, I live in hope for him coming here. It would be a coup!

Chris, Its good news that we are after this type of player, if it does not come off I am sure BBM has other options

100% agree. We were clearly in the running but it seems that Rangers are his preffered option.

Don't want any player here who'd rather be somewhere else.
Great that we're in for this type of player but is it realistic to think that any player would choose us over a club the size of Rangers?
Massive crowds every.week, only four tough games each season and a couple of European games each year before they get knocked out by some obscure Scandanavian team.
Little chance of impressing any Premier League teams as they don't seem to look to the SPL for players any more.

Mate, I’ve checked and the latest talk is Rangers are Rangers are advancing their interest in Jen Herto-Dahl, and talks are ongoing with the Norwegian club over a deal for approximately €6 million (
£5.1 million)
The player is keen to join the Glagow club, and personal terms are not anticipated to be a problem because they are agreed in principle
Disappointing, if true, but BBM will move on to other targets quickly and I fully expect at least two incomings (no names known) in the coming days, so it’s not all negative

Just watched the game and damn what a player he looks , involved in everything and scored a worldie , oh well we move on to the next target and hope we can get a few in over the next month

It’s not ‘
dead in the water’ quite yet, but the pendulum appears to be swinging back towards Glasgow Rangers at the moment

Me too, Andrew; but we’ll be the last to know ‘
officially’, as us supporters usually are!

My Strong View:
BBM has to a Sale first etc

We was never in for such mentioned anyway. Some need to pull there heads from the sands. We are probably cost cutting like every other season for god knows how many years, although I do wait for dalman the doctor of bullshit to pop his head from his yacht to tell us all "Vincent is still putting in 1m per month" which is the same every year from the spin doctor . Although none of this won't stop us going down to watch the mighty bluebirds eitherway as that's what we do

There’s now reports stating that previous reports of deal / positive negotiations for rangers are wide of the mark.

Let’s hope so Rog. The pendulum certainly seems to be swinging back and forth.

Interesting thing for me, is that you don't spend this amount without the player being first choice. I'm assuming he wouldn't be holding in midfield (so a new player still required to replace Wintle), so he'd be starting instead of Robertson or Colwill?

I’m thinking that BBM is going to use Robertson as a 6 perhaps.

Sporting director at Tromso has said that CCFC have put in an improved bid which has been accepted. He also said that personal terms have been agreed. Could sign by Wednesday. We’re also in pole position for Kellyman who will not be going to Strasbourg. Fingers crossed. 2-3 in by Wrexham match. Doncziew off to Arsenal - compensation around £500k due to first team appearance made

How reliable is the source you got this from?

Two sources saying exactly the same. Pretty good mate , one within club.

Would show some serious interest if this do happen, never doubted we were in contact with them but would have bet my last penny it wouldn’t have materialised

So let me get this straight.
To sign a potential wonder kid playing in Scandinavian league, untried in the championship.
After, a bidding war with other teams on both price and wages.
We have to get rid of a known wonder kid on less wages???
Different positions I know, but lawlers exposure this season could rocket his value even more.
How the fukin fkuc does this make sense?? Not money savvy in my book.
We need both. Full stop. Dont be a Tuchel Tan!!!!

Lawlor aint going anywhere as it stands.
No ones even spoken to the club yet regarding a bid
