Jones is the top Championship manager.

Neil Warnock is Colin Wanker, the name says it all !!!

Jones is the better Manager look what he did last season with Ridsdale at the helm and all the financial problems we had he took us all the way to the Play Off Final and one step from the Premiership, He also has a great track record of taking players like Bothroyd, Chopra and Whittingham who have under achieved elsewhere and turned them into quality Championship and potential Premiership players. I just can't imagine Warnock getting the best out of Bothroyd or Chopra who both need careful man management which DJ seems to have.

Have to agree,warnock for his bringing the club together,but then Jones could attract a better quality of player,and the football was ten times better than hoofball,but it was that style that got us anot her crack at the prem.good question though

Jones for me, my biggest annoyance regarding NW, was either the amount of money he blew on total shit, or the fact he gave us sort of a defeatist attitude. i want us in the mindset of we should win every game and he had us going into games as "we've lost before we played"

If Dave Jones had a personality and the presence of mind to try and win over to the Cardiff fans, he would have won this hands down, but he didn't and is a bit thick in not grasping this important part of football management.

Personally I prefer Warnock and the fact that he did a better job in bringing the club back together, while also winning promotion and he was far less divisive than DJ!

Plus Warnock in 2yrs achieved way more than Dave Jones did in 6yrs.

Dave Jones had top quality players and 6 years won nothing, loss the dressing room, disrespected our fans and players had no respect for him.
Dave Jones did play better football but hardly ever wins anything.

For the football Jones by a distance For what he achieved Warnock We are thou talking about two of our best managers in the time I have been watching some 47 years and 32 managers But think Eddie May will remain my favourite just seemed a great time for me

No question.... dave Jone he gave us an incredible team with the likes of Chopra and bothroyd Whitts Ledley, Roger Johnson David Marshall And More. Dave Jones made history with us.

i think the big difference though out of that, was DJ had to go out, and find those top quality players. and the truth is, they werent quality when he bought them. he made them into quality. he got them all on the cheap or free and had a big re-sale value for them when the club needed it the most.

Warnock threw money to sign players, and i am struggling to name a single one he improved. i know fans will say Warnock got us promoted, but it was the most boring football i've seen. atleast with DJ we were blessed with exciting football.

If Jones was giving thevkoney malky or warnock had I'm sure he would of done more with it ,jones done well for us under extremely difficult circumstances but he went stale

I liked both to be honest.

Dave Jones had a lot more off field problems to deal with. Warnock had infield problems but a great owner to work with.

I think Warnock came at the right time for us though. I'm not sure if he would have had the same effect if he came earlier.

Football was better to start with.
Jones made players better and at the same time made club money with transfer sales. Each summer we sold a star and used that modest money to fund next signings. Loovrens and Johnson come to mind.

Jones hated the press and quite rightly so after his experience.
He talked a lot of truth even if it wasn't what fans of one club wanted to hear. Is Cardiff v Swansea really bigger than Liverpool v Everton?

Would Warnock ever have signed Bothroyd and Chopra? Or Whitts or McPhail?

I'm sure if Warnock had been here much longer he would have lost dressing room too.

Club simply wasn't in the same bracket when Jones was in charge but he still persuaded quality players to come here. We didn't have the stadium or the training facilities we do now. Jones punched above his weight. I accept he didn't get us over the PL line but I look back as very good times.
