Why is it always Rubin's name with the Bellamy incident when the best prospect of that sqaud was Davies?

Rubin is a huge player for us and not being picked by Bellamy I can only think is personal when you see other who get picked

Personal taste as it cannot be performances or effort. Tanner had the same shite thrown at him on this forum when performing in the top end of the best in the league, also. Independant view and even our opposition rave about him.

Who'd want enemies...

People make him out to be way better than he actually is.

He's average at best in the Championship and will struggle massively this season.

His brother is ten times better than him.

I don't rate him at all and it's right he's not in the Wales squad.

We'll see. My view is he needed this L1 season and is now primed for the championship. Bulut, Riza and co. made better players than Rubin look shite.

Some very bold statements there.

You just don't let off about this guy do you. Very strange.

If Rubin can stay injury free, I think he'll do very well next season. He may as well just forget about Wales while Bellamy is there.

I disagree , i feel Joel is an all round better player than rubin but rubin has a lot more flare and can win a game on his own when hes up for it , I will come back to this post next may when rubin is up for championship player of the season :)

Worcester totally agree with every word you said.

Blue since 1981 - you sum it perfectly I think. When Rubin is up for it, that is more worrying to me that someone with more talent, you make it sound like his heart isn’t in it, which you may well have highlighted his biggest flaw there inadvertently.

For me the lack of of interest of any other club sums up what the games professionals think of him.

I think rubins problem has always been his consistency , we all know how good he can be on his day but unfortunately his day isn't often enough although I feel his level of consistency was a lot better the season just gone ,

was this because it was an easier league ,possibly, if he continues to improve on last season hes going to be massively important to us

I've never doubted his effort his stats for last season show how hard he works by the fact he had the most interceptions per game in the final third than any other cardiff player ,

Im a huge fan of rubin and I think within 3 years he will play in the premier league , hopefully with us , its also possible im completely wrong and he will just tread water as an average championship midfielder, only time will tell

He had a very good season in league one under a manager that plays to his strengths at last.

This coming season is big for him to show you and others that he can do it in the championship and maybe higher.

No point people having false hope about him, because otherwise they'll end up disappointed.

He's not good enough and never will be.

Wouldn’t class it as having a go.
More accepting the unfortunate reality, this forum full of differing opinions on our players but for some reason Rubin’s not allowed to get honest reviews.

I can say he the best player in Europe at the moment and there still more to come from his breakout season in the championship next season. But it doesn’t make it true. Let’s not kid ourselves that so far he’s not at any consistent remarkable level. And please let’s not kid ourselves that his league one season makes him a good player.

Oh it's definitely "having a go" and I'm sure Ned will admit it too. We all know he doesn't rate Ruben, he's hardly made it a secret. It's his opinion, we're all entitled to them and disagree with others.
