Seems he is off to palace.

I said i thought he might be wintles replacement and now wintle is gone id expect this rumour to gather pace

I agree but hoped we would go for someone like Jordan james a step up rather than back

Yea id much prefer jj I just think hes out of our price range and savage is more within the budget

I haven't seen much of savage but I rewatched the game against reading at our ground and savage played the number 6 role and was the best midfielder on the pitch , was good in possession and stopped a lot of our attacks and really did a job keeping rubin quiet, so on that 1 performance he was very decent

Watched Charlie Savage play midfield for wales in a lower opposition Game (can't remember which match) and he really impressed as a midfield controller and distributor - reminded me of one German maestro midfielder in his prime - Bastian Schwinstieger.

I think BBM could shape Charlie Savage in similar role - would be a fantastic addition to our squad.
