Tanners corners are poor , powder puff , no pace or bend on the ball , just a simple gentle pass to their keeper . Very poor

He's been blamed for giving the ball away on Saturday & causing both the oppositions goals, no mention of the fact that Lincoln had to go the entire length of the pitch to score them both. How about we blame the actual people who's job it is to defend rather than the guy trying to make things happen at the other end?

The defence were all over the place every time Barnsley got within 20 yards of our area last night & I lay the blame entirely at their feet for both results.

Never mind we needed backup for Salech, how about defenders that can actually defend rather than act like headless chickens.

Now I'm seeing people having a go at his corners as well

I haven't seen anyone in this team deliver a decent corner so I don't get how it's Tanners fault

A professional footballer and a winger who can’t cross a ball

Tanner dropped one onto NG's head to precision recently...

But yet his ratio of assists to games played is close to the best in the league & remind me again how we scored against Barnsley.

When watching the game live lots of things get missed due to tension and emotions

So I went back this morning and watched the full 90 and paid close attention to tanner to see if the criticism was warrented

His assist aside there were two moments in the second half he left the full back in the dirt and hung up two good crosses to the far post that salech would have eaten up just like he's done 3 or 4 times this season

Also 95% of the time his first touch is incredible his main weakness is his short passing it's often inaccurate and leads to counters against us

After watching the game without my emotions going crazy tanner was easily one of the better players last night

Tanner has been great since his return from injury he has the second best assists tally in the league yet Willock is also a winger who has played more games and he doesn't have a thread of his own
Not saying Willock deserves one but it's a bit rich people complain about Tanners crossing when he has more assists than Willock

Lawler was worse, no mention or thread about him.

Trump invades Iran - Tanners fault.

Trump invading Iran was Tan’s fault.

Unless Trump plays a blinder and wins, then it's despite Tan :laughing6:

And don't start me off on being shot shy of a team. The commentator said we are pretty on the eye but frustrating because we don't put the ball in the box enough. Rant over we got a point, but it should have been three.

He could do with a Salach to cross to, or to drag some players away, to create some space for the others to shoot.

I believe Tanner will be gone in the summer. I don't think he is a BBM player. I love him, but I love rolling the dice, go for it, wingers. I am not so sure possession-obsessed BBM is. But he is our most effective winger.

Assuming we go up, we need some serious upgrades, although I do not know what he wants in a winger, a bit like his idol Pep, who goes through world-class wingers like Spinal Tap drummers.

I guess my gripe with this Tanner agenda is that a chunk of people carry over the hate into the next game. Some clown on here gave it the old 'Tanner!! FFS' when the team was announced. When did Cardiff City fans turn into this?

I genuinely feel that he's doing a good job for us, he's 110% putting in a shift, and I believe he's the type who would thrive and raise a level or two if the fans got behind him.

And if he's not a starter as some desire, then there aren't many options! Ashfords cameos aren't to the level we need or bearing much fruit, Willock is hot or cold and Davies still isn't quite there. Kellyman is filling a few holes.. so Tanner is THE option in my eyes.

Lets get behind him.

Apart from all the brilliant crosses of course.

And his assists are the best in the league by far. The bloke who is top - Clearly of Barnsley has played 11 games more!!
