I wanted to win the league considering we’ve been top most of it,and we’ve absolutely blown it the last few weeks, not signing a striker in January is looking like such a bad decision by every passing week

For me simce ruben been back it hasnt worked for us .
Robertson kellyman willock and i no ruben scored a great goal but all these players went missing tonight.
Defence is changed all the time no continuity there and we miss selech so much no real striker Saturday or tonight a d we just looked slow in the final third .
We were cruising until we let em score with poor Defending there heads went up ours down.
Over to Bbm to stop these cheap goals being scored and lets get someone in the box who can at least preasure there Defence.
Very frustrating watch same as Saturday but still second still in our hands and until now they been brilliant so hopefully we get the win now against Exeter

We look horribly exposed to the counter attack now, teams know they only have to sit in as we will struggle to break them down and we will give up chances on the transition, I feel it's going to be a bumpy road ahead plenty of ups and downs

Completely agree, it feels like we are compromising the rest of the team by trying to get Rubin in the side. I know he scored tonight but he loses the ball so often and makes the wrong decision time after time. There was a chance in the second half and a simple reverse ball would have played Ng through on goal
Why didn't ruben play the reverse pass why i couldn't believe it .
Hes not made us better since coming back at all and no striker is killing us something isn't right out there over bbm

This squad needed a freshen up in the Jan window. Not with several players but defo with more than the 1, so if/when things start to stagnate we can do exactly that...freshen things up, give the opposition something new to think about.
Having said that, if we don't shot and be more direct when we need to...10 extra players won't make a difference.
My biggest conern though - this team (and manager) don't have that big game mentality. They can't rise to an occasion. They work hard, all the players are committed, they relentlessly keep the ball in play and probe, but they don't do those 'cup final games' well. Lincoln on the other hand do...if there is an important game that they absolutely have to win, they'll win, without question, it's in built in them. It's just not in us, it's too much about the performance and the stats and not enough about grinding out the results.
I'm not 4 1 second turning on BBM, he's a very good manager and he's absolutely the right man to take us forward. However, the performance got in the way of the result tonight and not for the first time.
Bolton and Bradford will have their tails up now coz our wheels are wobbling a bit.

Lincoln have kept 5 clean sheets in a row and have gone further clear at the top.
We concede yet another soft goal and throw away another 2 points.
Our defence is letting us down and McGoldrick should have scored a couple.
We are slipping closer to the playoffs and if we get caught, our season is over.
We will have no chance going up through the playoffs, as we can't stop conceding soft goals.
We have to hope Bolton stop winning and the games run out. If we lose home to Bolton, we don't deserve to go up.
Lincoln went to Exeter and kept a clean sheet tonight. Can we this weekend? I doubt it.

I thought it was a carbon copy of last Saturdays game against Lincoln. We should have won this game tonight but for some reason we have gone completely off the boil ! Very poor tonight in my opinion against a very poor Barnsley team.

I really believe the reason for a dip in form is one of the very small squad and two the youngsters are just knackered and can not give any more .I think that it was always on the cards that come Christmas the youngsters would be like that in this league .To be fair it lasted a bit longer than Christmas .I think it’s partly the manager who wants a small squad and two suits tan as he won’t spend any money on players

I agree with you
To small but BBM says that’s how he likes it.
I don’t believe him and I know for a fact NO Money.

Lincoln can defend! Soft goals against has been our achilles heel for more than two seasons.
The manager has to take some criticism for playing the last few games without a centre forward. Some quality crosses last night, but there is no-one there.
Either play Kellyman as an out and out striker, or start Robinson. I don't think the wing play is the problem - there is no target in the box!

Agree with this. Kellyman up top with Joel Robertson and wintle looked solid. We need to refind the form of this and confidence will come back pretty sharp. Think a lot of comments made about not keeping ahead of Bolton is a very much over reaction at moment. 9 points with 10 to go would of been snatched at by everyone from day 1
