Well I would not without a doubt not.

Look at the new belief he’s brought.

But he’s not the owner, just put some money in, NO Control :thumbright:

New believe? It's a meme. He's involved to create a rivalry for Wrexham's TV show. Swansea fans are not taking it seriously. I would not swap our position for Swansea's they are circling the championship drain. Tan out but not at all costs, he's a crap owner but there are far far worse. The South Africans sounded great and that would have been wonderful, but celebrity ownership is just people trying to cash in on what Wrexham have done, we need serious people with serious money.

If one is impressed by a 54 year old rapper who is bang average even in the 90s, you're probably a bit of a teletubby.

A Club with an Average of 10,000 and another 15,000 are more in the News World Wide and their Fans are Bouncing.

Are Cardiff City Fans Bouncing?

Are Our Owners ever in attendance?

What do you they do in Our Stadium to help the Atmosphere?

CCS has been lifeless for the majority of the time since we moved in.

Ninian wasn’t always a cauldron of noise.

Both have had their moments.

We had plenty of success at Ninian. Leeds game a particular highlight for me.

Man City game in the prem was super loud.

Surely the desire to attract more people through the turnstiles, grow the fan base and generate an atmosphere that gives an edged to the home team is a no brainer for any owner?

The only owners in the last 50 years who have tried to embrace this are Rick Wright and Sam. There is a significant untapped fan base in Cardiff that successive owners have failed to attract.

We been to the premier league TWICE . FA cup final . And loss on penalties at Wembley for another cup final . That’s impressive. Why some people constantly bash the club is beyond me .

Were the biggest club in wales annis and tan and his cronies holding us back,we light years behind Wrexham and stuff on their marketing, obviously Swansea getting celebrity investors to,I think has a football club we need that buzz back,we’ve gone stale as a club, imagine new owners came in moved canton end around, put them shitty red seats to blue and gave us our old badge back I think that would just give fans a lift, trouble is with tan and his cronies we never to far from a crisis with them clowns at the helm, and I think BBM will need money in the summer to invest in the squad and is tan willing to do that that’s my worry?

Snoop Dog is a Bluebird at heart, as shown as far back as 2011  :laughing6:

Respect for him reaching out to a Bluebird supporter, whilst appearing at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena :ayatollah:

I honestly think if a new investor came in with real financial backing to take us to the next level, that would be the best outcome for everyone. A genuine fresh start that could finally bring the club back together a bit. Tan could leave with the club in a better position than when he found it a squad built around young home-grown players, an extended Ninian Stand (hopefully with the red seats gone!), and still in the same league he took over in. That feels like the best all-round solution to me.

Where I tend to lose people in debates is when they say this squad hasn’t been backed. I just don’t see how that argument holds up.

Three of the top ten reported highest-paid players in League One, Turnbull, Robinson and Chambers, would reportedly cost more than Lincoln’s entire squad. Then add in whatever we’re now paying Salech after his new deal. BBM has definitely been backed this season. Just because he’s recruited really well doesn’t mean he hasn’t had resources or support, if anything, it shows the backing has been used properly. That said, I do agree that if we want to take the next step again, serious investment is needed because you’re effectively competing with Premier League-level budgets.

The other argument that completely loses me is the idea that Cardiff City was some sort of paradise before Tan arrived. Yes, we had some good football under DJ, but off the pitch it was probably the most worrying time I can remember supporting the club. I remember Sam Hammam’s car being surrounded after we sold Earnie, Kav and Gabbidon. Everything of value was getting sold. We were under a transfer embargo, and the only reason we avoided relegation to League One was because we bent the rules on the loan market due to injuries.

Then came Ridsdale and the “season tickets for signings” promise just to keep the lights on, followed by HMRC winding-up orders. I remember grown men ringing radio shows genuinely upset because it looked like the club might go under.

Tan has definitely caused division with decisions that lack and understanding of football culture, no question about that. My hope is that we get promoted with this excellent manager and exciting homegrown squad, and hopefully we become a very attractive investment.

Let’s at least argue from an accurate starting point. People will always disagree on opinions, but when the facts get rewritten, the debate just feels pointless.

Annis, I cannot remember a time where those running the stadium have (or have even attempt to) create an atmosphere at any game within the stadium? :?

In fact, if anything, they have gone out of the way to dampen the atmosphere and create a sterile environment!

The only ‘real’ atmospheres have been created by the supporters themselves, sadly all too infrequently, and only when the really ‘big’ games come along!

Chelsea was the latest example of ‘what could be’!

I agree with you that Wrexham have created an incredible journey at their relatively small club; and we wouldn’t put our houses on them not being promoted. Their exposure to the media world has created a phenomenon and they are on the rise!

That could be us; but it won’t happen under the current owner/regime!

Even the ‘Jacks’ have utilised their ‘high profile’ investors to good effect, and last night’s appearance by former Bluebird Snoop Dog, was highlighted on both the main BBC news and on other world media outlets!

Our club, even in Wales, are largely unreported on outside our results!

Chris,

Correct, if they did it’s totally gone out my mind, there is NO excitement made by the Hierarchy at all and NO effort shown that they even care about our club and it hurts.

Nothing will happen under this Current Owner as sometimes I wonder if he even knows we exist.

numerous embargo’s,made the club a laughing stock, getting relegated to league 1 for starters should never be there,if tan appointed the right managers, isn’t it strange how riza hasn’t go a job anywhere else?or Steve Morison?cheap and cheerful they are shouldn’t have been nowhere near managing at the level they did,but never mind we top of league 1 so all our problems magically go away now

We had embargoes before. Plenty of them. Lots of clubs have.

Relegated to league one is on the pitch. As is the appointment of rubbish managers. Riza was everyone’s flavour of the month when he took us away from the shocking start we had. Bulut was widely regarded as a good appointment and then people wanted him to be given a new contract. Until he started doing shit and then the hindsight brigade did their thing.

Off the field crisis like close to administration or in court with HMRC type crisis? Or points deductions or non payment of wages or bills etc.

Don't really need hyping stadiums or Hollywood publicity really though do we?,look at at Bournemouth Brighton and Brentford. No noise from their owners just quietly got to the Premier league and got on with it.

If Bournemouth ever go back to the championship they would struggle.

They were in administration and wiped their debts on their climb.

Ye but who’s calling the shots that get us in embargoes and stuff?we were circling the plug for years for relegation just about stayed up in other seasons and stuff and that’s on the board no other club would have appointed riza as their manager as goes to show no1 wants him, crisis has in headlines about how shit were run it’s just all embarrassing if tan had listened and had football people in place he might not have wasted so much money,he’s let dalman and choo spent all over the shop on crap basically silly wages and stuff, like dalman saying today about the accounts oh it shook the club to the core their choices got it that way their appointed riza they’ve probs signed half the shit players we’ve had the last 10 years that’s on them

They have been back to the Championship once and bounced back within 2 seasons even stronger than the first time they went up

What makes you think if they went down they wouldn’t come back up again?
