They gave us a good game at CCS and were unlucky not to get something.

I'll be positive and stick to my prediction of a 2-0 win, but will be a tough test if Doncaster play like that again.

Hopefully we bounce back like we always have done after a defeat to date although let's not let that luke molyneux skin Bagan about 11 times again like he done at ours if he's playing. For me they took off there best player when they come to ours that Charlie crew boy dictating in the middle. That last second goal for the win by bagan felt good mind you :bluescarf:

Gotta bounce back after the Plymouth thrashing.

They gave us a good game at ours and their form is pretty good. Their goals for and against is sh!t though. Come on boys, get that focus back and show Lincoln, Bolton and Stockport that last week was nothing but an off day.

Comfortable City win, 2 nil (Tanner, Robertson)

Perry Ng does well to shield the ball near his own box, wins a free-kick from Glenn Middleton and Nathan Trott can get the ball down the other end of the pitch.

The pitch in South Yorkshire looks in poor condition and a few passes have bobbled so far for Cardiff. Not suitable for free-flowing football, upon early viewing.

But both teams have to play on it.

Credit to the hosts, it's all Donny so far. Glenn Middleton sends in a searching cross aimed at Brandon Hanlan - but it's just slightly over-hit.

Goal kick to Cardiff.

Cardiff just struggling to complete their triangles. They're not used to this poor surface and the hosts are aggressive in their defence, too.

Joel Bagan gets a bit of room on the left and tries to bend in a cross. Poor connection and it's out for a Donny goal kick.

Close!

Perry Ng realises Cardiff have to go aerial and he lofts a ball over the top of Ollie Tanner, who skins Jack Senior as he chops into the box.

Tanner hits one near post and Thimothee Lo-Tutala has to tip it around the post!

Wonderful covering defending from Dylan Lawlor!

An Alex Robertson pass is cut out and Brandon Hanlan is released in behind Gabriel Osho and Dylan Lawlor. Hanlan appears to be one on one with Nathan Trott when he pulls the trigger - but Lawlor flies in the way and deflects it over the bar!

Some defending from the Wales international.

Cian Ashford does well to flick the ball away from Jamie Sterry and win a free-kick. Alex Robertson or Joel Bagan will surely float one into the box here.

Late to the game due to a glitch but saw the Doncaster corner and then Tanner upended. Surely a yellow card for the Doncaster man?

A Bluebird fred kick comes to nothing at the other end

Ryan Wintle plays a stunning, volleyed pass out to Cian Ashford, but he's not on the same wavelength as Joel Bagan on the overlap and the attack is stopped.

So far so scrappy with the awful pitch playing a big part in proceedings so far with passes bobbling around and not going where they're supposed to go. All a little worrying a it doesn't suit our style.

We’re holding our shape well here and starting to probe the Doncaster defence

A corner comes across and it’s headed away easily

Alex Robertson's in-swinger is cleared. Doncaster look like they're going to win those all day - towering over the Bluebirds.

Caught out far too easily there and Doncaster rush forward; thankfully with no end result

But Doncaster go back in and go close before it eventually goes out for s Doncaster throw

They’re creating chances from out wide right now! :(
