I still think our squad is good enough but if injuries and suspensions mount up during the run in it could be the difference between going up automatic and ending up in the play offs
Its absolutely foolish but not unexpected if our useless board sit on there hands and think we will just cruise to promotion

Sorry I though you had some prove that murphy is been backed in this transfer window by the board to sign who and what he needs.

Sorry predictive text proof ,
I was just curious as to why you said, and I agree there are no gaurantees but you said it had nothing to do with not been backed by the board .
If we don' t bring anyone before deadline day that is surely down to the board not murphy he has mentioned the need for a left back when the window opened at the start of january.

Targets should have been identified long before the window opened, negotiations started and players lined up to come in as soon as the window opened.
Why can other clubs get their new signings or loan players in early whereas we only ever seem to get players in at the last minute? Don't mention the reserve goalie signed on a free transfer either - he's not going to contribute anything unless Trott gets injured or sent off.
The sort of players we are looking at (youngsters with potential on loan)will not be dependent on their clubs signing other players before they can be released so why does it take us so long to sign anyone?
There was much talk about BBM's links to Man City when he was appointed but nothing has come of that. Is that because Man City wouldn't trust their youngsters to BBM (very unlikely), or maybe there are no youngsters at Man City good enough to improve a League 1 team (unlikely) or is it because Tan is unwilling to pay any wages or a loan fee to help the manager get this young team promoted?
God help us if we get don't get promoted this season and God help us if we do because there is no evidence to suggest that Tan will provide the manager with the financial backing that will be essential if we're to survive in the Championship.

Aren't we in for the left back from Liverpool I don't think it's anything to do with Tan not being willing to pay the wage. The player needs to be young and good enough which basically means that he'll be coming in from a top 10 academy. The other problem is game time, if we had no left back I guarantee you somebody would have given us one. BBM isn't going to guarantee a huge amount of game time because Bagan has been so good. We want to loan someone to be a squad player, the parent club want to send guys out to get game time, we aren't an attractive proposition for that.

I’ve just read this thread and agree with this from Maccydee.
I think we need a left back especially but we can manage quite well without if needed.
Kapicio played there recently?
NG can play there if needed.
As is proved with Salech being out, Kellyman came in and did a great job.
We’re fine in midfield especially with Rubin coming back.
As Sven says, BBM won’t bring anyone in for the sake of it as has happened before with managers and if he finds the right player I believe he’ll be backed for that player.
