Referee rating today

Zero is too kind for this clown. The worst ref I've seen in my 40 years.

I just realized you wouldn't have been around for the Wales v Yugoslavia game when people wanted to get at the ref he was so bad & damn does that make me feel old.

I missed that Euro 1/4 finals game, as it was on a Sunday and we were on our way to Bala Lake on a schools Outward Bounds course @ Rhosygwalia, for those who ever went/remember, and it was a fabulous week!

I remember my uncle who went, describing it as a ‘blatant rip-off’ by the officials and he never went to another international after that!

Just nearly home and honestly I still can't believe how bad that ref was.

The EFL should drop him to non league after that.

A minus score would have been appropriate

You also got to blame the linesman in this league as well , they wont make a decision , ive seen bad tackles and blatant fouls and they just stand there, think referees tell them offside or nothing ffs , there stealing a living grow a pair

He was a danger to the players and had zero control. Thing is. I don’t blame the Stockport players for getting in to us. As hard as it was to watch. They were allowed to. You can’t blame them for pushing to see what they coukd get away with. The buck stops with the man wit the whistle. He bottled stamping his authority on the game and bottled all major decisions on cards. Except for the ones for us for minor technical infractions

Looking at his history, that may have been his biggest game 1st vs 4th in L1. He ref'd Bradford v Reading in December—mainly L2, national league, FA trophy, and the odd L1 game.

I think he wanted the game to flow to impress the assessors, but let Stockport get away with murder and just lost control after Salech incident.
