Nope.

Thought you would bring that up when you try to def3end your indefensible statements.

Oh my the way Osho got dispossed at the end that nearly lost us the game. So much for your dispossessed fact.

No he wasn't. The ball wasn't under anyone's possession at the time.

Osho lost his duel, allowing their player to get the better of him and run past him.

We were lucky not to concede from that at the end.

What absolute rubbish, a draw away from home is always a good result & we're top of the league in case you missed it.

Yep! He also says Leyton Orient were ‘crap’ on the Matchday thread! They certainly were not! :ayatollah:

Wasn’t talking about their performance. They are a crap team in general, a team we should be beating.

That’s how I read it, so I looked again and still do!

Hardly a ‘crap’ game and definitely not a ‘crap’ club, and they (the Orient) put up a good fight!

Don't disagree with that, my point is he wasn't disposessed as had been suggested.

They did put up a good fight today. But we didn’t turn up. At the end of the day, we are top and they are 18th for a reason. I stand by what I said.

So do I (stand by my comments)!

Maybe your problem is a lack of respect for the opponent, yet you state (above) “they put up a good fight!”, and “we didn’t turn up!

We certainly did ‘turn up’; particularly in the second half, but Orient made it difficult for us, and they deserve a little respect for that!

As I’ve said before, we have no ‘right’ to pummel opponents every game, just because we feel we are ‘bigger or better’. Our opponents see us as a ‘point to prove’ and make so we have to work even harder to earn every point

So far this season, we have tended to deliver; to BBM and the team’s credit! :ayatollah:

We were also very lucky home to Stevenage as they had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Lincoln are only 4 points behind us because we gifted them their win, failing to defend a basic corner.

I know we kept a clean sheet against Wigan, but we had 82% possession. We have a problem when we don't control games and teams are allowed to get at us. We can't handle it and we concede so many soft goals. It's not good enough.

This league is so poor, we should never be in this division and we should be miles clear at the top already, but no team gives away the soft goals we do. This is why we came bottom last season and we are giving the rest of the teams a chance. No team lost more points from winning positions than us last season.

This transfer embargo is clearly a delaying tactic to not sign anyone this transfer window. It will be the excuse to disrupt us enough to "miss out" on our supposed "targets". If other teams strengthen and we keep gifting away soft goals, we can easily mess up promotion. If we fail to go straight back up, we will have to start selling our best players and then we could be stuck at this level for a very long time.

Leyton Orient played well and deserved their point.

Good post. I was thinking we could have 4 points more. Two very poor goals to concede in last two away games. I thought our away support was quiet again yesterday and we were next to orients vocal support.

I had to listen to the (for a change decent) Orient commentary for parts of the game, and they were saying how good the Bluebird support was, and how they helped create a great atmosphere! :ayatollah:

Speaking of Orient commentary how bad was their club TV director? I don't think I've ever seen less of a game. 4 or 5 replays if Orient got over the halfway line and then crowd shots, shots of the managers while the ball was in play

I was there and we were quiet for large parts, even orient were singing shall we sing a song for you. Our support base has changed and is not as vocal. It's not a criticism just a fact. We are travelling in good numbers too.

I was chanting trotts name at the end of the game because fair play he didn't hide and acknowledged his mistake. Like you say he has earned us quite a few points. Fact is though he cost us two points yesterday

I think a draw was a fair result, but I think we should be beating teams like that, for me we haven’t got that nasty bit about us to grind out results away from at tricky away games, some of our players seem to get bullied more

I do hold this Cardiff team to higher standards than you maybe. I do not take mediocre performances lightly (first half was mediocre) because I know we can do better. We are doing very well this season and that’s why I expect to beat teams that are 18th in the league. I’m just desperate for this team to pull away at the top and not drop into the play off places. We missed the opportunity to go 6 points clear at the top.

Re: " Draw a fair result "

Sun Jan 11, 2026 12:21 pm

We are never going to pull away at the top and people need to realise this or they will forever be dissapointed

We are not the Birmingham of last season and there will be many more ups and downs to come this season

Anyone can beat anyone in this division that's why there's only a few points between the relegation and play off spots and even teams in the bottom 4 can pull off results Burton winning at ours and Bradford being examples of that

People need to strap in for the ride as this one is going down to the wire and stop with the delusions of grandeur thinking we are to big to be in this league because we are where we deserve to be

First 25 minutes I thought we were really poor, couldn't get in to a rhythm and lost 95% of second balls and could of been 3-0 down

Salech scored against the run of play but we seemed to go up a gear after the goal and half time probably came at the wrong time as we were starting to get into our stride

Second half we controlled the tempo and majority of possession without looking overly threatening, we had one good chance when Robertsons shot was blocked

Even though we controlled the second half we looked very vulnerable against the counter more so when kapakio came on and could of lost the game in the last few minutes

I thought the away support was quite subdued compared to normal maybe due to the arctic conditions or maybe the embargo had a slight effect either way I was glad to get out of there with a point

I will be going up to Bradford next week in the hope we will turn in a much better performance than we did yesterday and this time a point would make me much happier than it did yesterday
