I don't think he was hiting set averages like they're have been in recent years.
Sun Dec 21, 2025 7:56 pm
I was shopping today during the afternoon session so didn't see it, sounds like Cullen wasn't happy with the way Mensur played against him?
Sun Dec 21, 2025 8:46 pm
Gerwyn Price is out!
Beaten by Wesley Plaisier.
Jonny Clayton remains as the Welsh number one.
Sun Dec 21, 2025 8:52 pm
Ding Dong Price gone
Sun Dec 21, 2025 8:54 pm
It serves Price right for being way too arrogant when he said the other day "I'm winning it."
Littler and Humphries can say that because they can back it up, he can't.
Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:42 pm
To nobody's surprise, Littler will be back after Christmas.
He had a bad first set but Davies didn't take advantage.
Littler wins 3-0 and will play Mensur Suljovic after Christmas.
Sun Dec 21, 2025 11:33 pm
Love how Litler was deliberately trying to leave himself 170 finishes
Mon Dec 22, 2025 8:18 am
I'm devastated about Price. I fancied him this year; he's been ticking along nicely.
Mon Dec 22, 2025 4:44 pm
Two more upsets today.
Nijman beaten by Clemens.
Wade beaten by Evans in an epic match - game of the tournament so far.
Mon Dec 22, 2025 6:22 pm
What a match that was. Got to.love Ricky Evans. Proper character.
Very natural players. You'd never tell him to change the way his plays as it works for him but you'd also never coach someone to play like that

I watch him and think it's madness how he throws that quick, but like you say it works for him. Wayne Mardle said a few months ago that Evans tried in practice to throw slower and he struggled so he's obviously better sticking to that way.

Humphries is the big name in tonight's session. He's up against the legend that is Paul Lim.
Then tomorrow is the last day before the Christmas break.
Mon Dec 22, 2025 8:36 pm
Would love to see Lim win it. What a lovely story that would be. Cant see it and also to keep it competitive would be better if Humpries won. He also seems like a really nice bloke too

I've felt sorry for Humphries. He was world champion and world number one for a while but everyone was talking about Littler (for obvious reasons).
Agree about Lim, the bloke is a legend. Hope this isn't his last WC but it could well be, a great man.

It's just the Luke Litler story now isn't it? Lol
He's just total box office. Like O'sullivan is in snooker

I guess the difference is that Ronnie is clearly the best ever in snooker, even Hendry says that.
Yet to be proven if Littler is better than Taylor.
Don't think he has to match Taylor's titles to prove it because it's more competitive now, but getting to double figures would confirm it.
I do think Littler will get his second this year.
Mon Dec 22, 2025 9:57 pm
Agee. Don't think he'll match Taylor but mainly because of how good the standard these days.
For me Ronnie in snooker is as good as Messi, Ronaldo, Pele are to football, probably better.
I don't know whether we will ever see anyone as good as Ronnie. You never know though.
For me snooker and golf are probably the 2 most technically difficult sports to master. So for Ronnie to be aa good as he is means that in my opinion he is the only player that can truly be called a genius

Trust me no one will beat Taylor’s record, the amount of young talent coming through is absolutely incredible and with the ever increasing popularity of darts it’s here to stay.

I often wonder how long Wright will keep going, he's been on a downward spiral for a while now.
A possibility that him and Michael Smith will be out of the top 32 after this tournament.
Also wouldn't shock me if MVG loses tonight, he's another that's going backwards. Has the odd good tournament these days but that's it.
Tue Dec 23, 2025 8:36 pm
Noppert v Hood.
Wow.
What a match.
Tue Dec 23, 2025 9:28 pm
Gary Anderson rolling back the years tonight with a 105 average.
Brilliant to see.
Tue Dec 23, 2025 10:22 pm
Very sad to see Peter Wright playing as poorly as he did tonight. Of of the games greats.
Fantastic match Noppert vs Wood. Can't ask much more than that for entertainment.
Lovely to see Anderson back to his best. Got to love old Gary.
Happy that MVG is through. Keeps things interesting
Also brilliant to have Wayne Mardle back with us after what happend to his wife last year. Comes across as a throughly decent bloke.
Also he's looking better now than he did when he was playing !
Tue Dec 23, 2025 11:20 pm

What a match to open Round Three.
Ratajski beats Plaisier 4-3.
Gilding v Woodhouse up next.
Sat Dec 27, 2025 3:25 pm
Woodhouse beats Gilding 4-1. Not the highest quality game.
Clayton v Zonneveld is the last game of the afternoon session.
Sat Dec 27, 2025 4:51 pm
Clayton wins 4-3 in another brilliant match.
He'll play Harrysson or Pietreczko, who play tonight.
Tonight's games:
Harrysson v Pietreczko
Bunting v Hurrell
Littler v Suljovic
Sat Dec 27, 2025 4:56 pm
