Really are you for real, what happened when rubin left the pitch today ? and if you cannot see what a miss he is going to be between now and the transfer window,

Hardly a fantasy world when we're top of the league with games in hand and scored the joint most goals. Squad size not causing too many issues there

Re: BBM ON RUBIN COLWILL: Not good Rubin Colwill

Sat Nov 22, 2025 11:39 pm

Although I’m not 100% Worcester, I’m in favour in this league of a small squad.

Rubin is critical to our team, maybe robbo can do a job there but he’s the maestro that makes us tick, and it is a worry to lose him. Would I have another player in to fill his role with his qualities, probably not.

Rubin has technique, and is gifted with quick feet, but he’s not a finished product. I’m more gutted he will be delayed in progressing, but in this league, do we have a youngster who can maybe push into the team?

Even if robbo or kellyman gets put as 10, maybe a winger or cm can break through. We have a team of young players, this is the division where you make or break

Re: BBM ON RUBIN COLWILL: Not good Rubin Colwill

Like his mentor, BBM loves a CM!! I can't see Robinson doing enough running to be thought of as a starter as a second striker/ ACM. He is the last 20 mins last throw of the dice 2 up top when losing.

15 games and three months in, some of our fans still haven't realised that we are in L1 playing against L1 squads.

We probably have the best sqaud 1~16. Our subs are mainly an improvement on tired players who may be having an iffy game.

Our subs yesterday, Turnbull, NG, Osho, Willock & Robertson, are all championship level, we left Robinson on the bench!!!!! Others have their U21's on the bench.

Every manager is "happy" with their sqaud, you can't publicly say the deeper players are not good enough. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few new players in during the window. We still need wingers and a backup left back.

So we will muddle through without colwill and tanner with our small squad f.cking brilliant who needs a big quality squad.

Colwill will be a loss OK, but I dont buy this small squad stuff. Just look at our bench yesterday. Doubt if any side in this league could put out a bench like that (and afford to rest Lawlor as well. )

People are entitled to there opinion on squad size whichever side of the coin they sit however at the moment we are top of the league so the size of our squad is not hindering us, will it further down the line only time will tell, I still believe we need 3 more players in january to help us push on

Re: BBM ON RUBIN COLWILL: Not good Rubin Colwill

Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:24 pm

This is going to be a real test for BBM.

For me Ruben is a luxury player who belongs in a higher league with a more established club. Its due to his inconsistency that he is not playing higher up. His loss will be a big loss consistent or not.

I see 2 replacements in Robinson and Robertson. In Robinson we will get a bit of flair back if we play him at 10. With Robertson we will lose that flair but it will be replaced by an engine that will make us more solid at 10. More I think about it the more I favour the engine mode.

I think depending on opposition will determine who plays 10. If attacking more then robbo willock or kellyman may get the nod. If needs more stability then Robertson or turnbull probably

Agree, we might see the manager giving Troy Perret a chance.

That’s a good option, Tony!

Has there been an actual update on Rubin’s injury to date?

Apologies, if so, but I’ve not seen/heard one! :ayatollah:
