Yeah, always tough against a team that have got a relatively new manager.
But we apparently didn't play well in the cup and we tend to bounce back from bad performances so hoping we get the win.

INJURY UPDATE:
BBM:
Ahead of Saturday's clash, Brian provided an injury update on his squad.
“We’ve not seen Will Fish this week in terms of training, he’s a doubt. I don’t think he will train today, but he may train tomorrow. In all likelihood, it’ll mean that he won’t be available for Saturday. “
“Since the game against Newport County, Will has had a knee problem and we’ve been monitoring him since then.
"Due to the nature of Dylan Lawlor’s issues, we’ve been quite stretched so Will has been the one who has played all the games, whereas we have rotated the other position at centre-back.”
“The international fixtures come at a good time for us to try and get everyone fit.”
“Will joins Perry Ng, who we’ll look to have back after the international fixtures and Chris Willock is in an identical timeline to Perry. Ollie Tanner is making good progress and Eli King is longer term.”

Blackpool take on Cardiff City at Bloomfield Road this weekend.
Ian Evatt believes he has what it takes to help Josh Bowler discover the best form of his career.
Since the appointment of the new head coach last month, the fans favourite has been utilised in a more central role rather than in the wide areas.
Bowler initially became a popular figure on the Fylde Coast during his first spell in Tangerine between 2021 and 2022.
A move to Nottingham Forest started a downward trajectory for the 26-year-old, with no senior appearances coming his way at the City Ground and loan moves with Olympiacos, Cardiff City, Preston North End and Luton Town not working out.
Even a return to Bloomfield Road prior to his stint in Wales didn’t hit the same heights, but that didn’t dampen the excitement over his return to Blackpool on a permanent basis at the beginning of September.
While there have been snippets of what he’s capable of during his first couple of months back with the Seasiders, Bowler has struggled to find consistency - like a lot of his teammates.
Evatt states he’s seen enough of what Bowler can do to suggest he can get back to his best, and believes his plan for the ex-Everton man can propel him to new heights.“He’s a very good receiver, he’s a very good dribbler, he can scan and see space on the pitch - which is a huge skill when you’re playing more central,” he said.
“Everyone’s told me that out of possession isn’t Josh’s strength, but I’ve seen him work really hard, regain the ball, and win duals. I know he can do it, and I think he’s enjoying doing it.
“He’s got a huge amount of talent. Along his journey, Josh has lost a bit of confidence and belief in himself, and that can happen with footballers. Confidence is something that is difficult to gain, but can leave you in a heartbeat.
“I’m trying to fill him with confidence, but it’s a two way street. For me to give him that energy, he needs to give me effort and performance - and he’s giving me that.
“I think I can get Josh Bowler back to where he was, if not better. I’m excited by what he can do playing more centrally.
“It’s my pledge as a coach that regardless of age or circumstance, I try to make the players better, it’s my duty to do that. I’ve got that with them all to help them become more rounded.”

Although they have a new manager and he's had a good start, this is a game we should really be looking to win.
2-1 to us I'll say.

I expect to win this they are 2nd from bottom for a reason but it all depends on how tinkerman sets up which I assume it will be the same system as always from the off if it isn't working after the first half it needs changing but we shall see. For me there are no excuses if we don't pick up 3 points at Blackpool

At minute ‘
zero’ and @ 0-0 to start, you’ve always got a chance; but over 90 minutes, if the Bluebirds are back on it, you Sand Grown'uns will find it very tough!

Another chance for Blackpool

Worrying moment again there for Cardiff. Calum Chambers loses an aerial duel with Ashley Fletcher and Joel Bagan is caught in a bit of trouble with CJ Hamilton, but does enough to shield it out for a goal kick.

Wtf are they doing? Mess about up other end pitch lose possession then 6 players in box couldn't stop Blackpool from scoring (player missed sitter we did not stop him) then mess up a corner as normal with a short corner! Nothing is learned from previous games ?
Sat Nov 08, 2025 3:08 pm
Sloppy from Ronan Kpakio, who loses possession to George Honeyman, but Alex Robertson does well with a recovery challenge to quell a counter.
