Tough last day but got to remember how well they did in the first two days.

So pleased for Shane Lowry.

First win on American soil since 2012.

What an ending and what a 3 days' worth of action!

It ran exactly to the theme of 'Europeans are a better team, USA are better individual'. That comeback yesterday was special from the Yanks. Glad they didn't get all the way!

Ryder Cup is up there for sports events, for me.

The commentators were pretty damning of the supporters, the coverage showed the yanks leaving in their droves after we got to 14 points, that really annoyed the commentators.

As for the result, there was a very telling comment after the end of the second day. The question was asked, why were the americans so far off the pace? The answer cam back, "there was no prize money involved".

Always in it for themselves. This showed, during the foursomes and fourballs, USA don't know how to work as a team, whereas when they were alone on the fairways on day three, they came into their own.
